The Resort is very "tired" as it's in need of some basic maintenance and upgrades. Very limited staff - not sure if it's an economics thing or low season thing.
No ocean view. The installation is really old. Need to be upgraded. Beach is ok. Staff are really friendly.
wonderful helpful staff - excellent food
The area where it is located is beautiful, our hotel room was very spacious but needs remodeling (rusty faucet, humidity bumps in ceiling, nasty smell coming from shower drain), room was very clean. An easy 15 minute drive from Loreto on a well paved road. Restaurant is good and employees are very nice and helpful except the guy that is supposed to help with your luggage he just stood in the reception area doing nothing.
Property location was great, the maintenance on facility was very poor, jacuzzi was not working, pool was not maintained propertly, cealing rooms were leaking, green areas poorly maintained, we had to contact front desk to have our room cleaned.
I recommend this resort..I felt safe, comfortable, peaceful, yes, it’s true there are not a lot staff on site, but you can definitely enjoy this resort with the right mental attitude. It’s was hot as hell but I appreciated those working to serve us- thank you Loreto Bay Sea and Golf …..
The pool was not very clean and needs to be updated. They often ran out of clean pool towels.

Location cannot be better. This hotel has hands-down the best beach in Loreto. I snorkeled every day and saw lots of marine life. Every day. Kayaking is also fun. Hotel has seen its best days, but staff is willing to help out with any issues. Area around the hotel has a few restaurants and convenience shops for when you get tired of the hotel's. Months June through August might be too hot to be comfortable but the ocean remains cool enough to swim and cool down.
Room was not kept clean in some aspects like the shower and bathroom altogether. The extractor was full of dust/dirt. We were only given 2 coffee cups and I asked for 3 since there were 3 of us I never got them even when asking on different days and staff. They forced us to tip in the restaurant by the pool, had no option to adjust even though we were only 3 on ordered 2 drinks and wings. The pool bar was disgustingly dirty with bugs and things all over it. Bartender didn’t once wipe it down. The restaurant Cactus was subpar and the waitstaff was not great. Other than that the beach was magical and the pool was nice for relaxing.
Great
The beach at the resort was beautiful. I opted to pay for the meal plan which included a variety of hot breakfast meals coffee and juice which was delicious and a great deal. We had burgers, fries and cocktails at the restaurant next to the pool which were good. They seemed under staffed so we had to be patient for check in and pool towels. Our room was clean and spacious. Although we didn't play golf the grounds were maintained.
No one is staying here for the hotel. It’s in desperate need of an update, but the beach is unbelievably beautiful & not too many places you can snorkel right off the sand. The location is great! However the food, pool, rooms & staff leave a lot to be desired…

Liked that the hotel is beach front with a nice sandy beach and great snorkeling right at the hotel.
Their menu showed one thing and what they served was something else. The worse one was the mile shake, served it in the size cup that you get your orange juice in and then it wash like milk in flavor and thickness. They say you get an hour of kayaking for free but you get charged 120 pesos each time.
I only saw the pool area cleaned twice in my stay once was the day after our arrival and the second time I had to ask the staff if it can be cleaned since it was dirt near the bar area. The same for the outdoor pool area. It need more maintenance in some areas like the bar area it has no games. I did not like that they advertise some amazing outdoor areas but you are Not able too visit them because it's exclusive for golf members however the gard did let two young ladies swim in the area but they did not allowed use to take at least one picture on the bridge, he explained that we would have to go around the beach to get wear the girls are but you can't cuz of the ocean. I just don't understand how they got to that area. Most of the staff was friendly
