Schönes Hotel mit guter Anbindung an Shinagawa Station.
Grandiose Aussicht und sehr freundliches Personal.
I have stayed here multiple times while in transit through Haneda Airport as it is a 15-minute ride from the airport on the Keikyu line if you take the express train, or a shortish cab ride that will not break the bank.
Booked a premium king club lounge room for 2 nights. Not a big room but OK for a short stay. A lot of space is taken up by the bathroom, leaving the bedroom quite cluttered and poky. Unremarkable urban views - this time we faced another building so blinds down all the time.
The buffet breakfast in the main restaurant never disappoints, and the ambience of public areas is nice.
This was the first time splurging on club lounge access and it was not worth it. While the club lounge was a nice space, I did not experience personal service or helpfulness with simple requests, afternoon tea is ho hum (stale food) and the short happy hour is quite basic food wise - showy presentation but not tasty or generous. However, there was a decent variety of alcoholic and nonalcoholic drink options.
If your benchmark is a US hotel club lounge you will probably think this one is fabulous, but by international 5-star standards it is not. Rice crackers, peanuts and chocolate bits are all you will find in the lounge for much of the day.
The lounge was exceptional!
Hotel area is not the best in Tokyo, but the central location to metro compensates for it.
Room, food, atmosphere, checking in and out, service. Everything was perfect.
They were the kindest staff I’ve ever had help me, very descriptive on all my benefits and helped me receive any packages I had sent to the hotel. Check in was very welcoming and informative and check out was extremely smooth. Entire hotel was well designed and clean at all times. Noise is kept very low at all times including events happening. Rooms are very nice with amenities included.
Excellent Hotel and excellent service. Always perfect in every way
Pro: excellent location, next to train station include one of bullet train station. The staff overall are excellent. Room is modern and comfortable.
Con: terrible food overall. I stay 8 nights and try breakfast for 6 days. It is very little variation. I order burger for room service, wagu beef patties are dense with no favor, it is not even hot. Seafood pan fried noodle has only 1 shrimp, 1 scallop and 1 squib, the meal is 6k yen. The worst is not the price but taste. The Italian kitchen is not better. Braised chicken is bland, Cesar salad has no anchovy, shave cheese .it is Hugh portion but not enough dressing.
Overall is good stay beside food and long commute to city center.
Excellent overall experience. We had 2 rooms for 2 nights. Beautiful hotel in a great location near Haneda. Easy to get to by train. The front desk staff made the difference. As an IHG Platinum elite member, we were accommodated with an upgrade to the 28th floor- twin beds on the west side. We pleasantly surprised to have a view of Mt Fuji. Staff that stood out were Yoshioka-san, Honda-san and luggage bellman (sorry that I didnt get his name) on Feb 3rd check-out. Took initiative to find us a taxi and walked us to elevator- small acts of service which make a difference in providing service excellence. The aesthetics and decor of hotel were lovely. Similar to pictures on internet. Hotel is right next to Shinagawa station so super convenient for Shinkansen and JR lines.
Club lounge is great
I met one regular waitress who serviced us with a pocket face
Excellent hotel. Location, staff, food. Everything was great . The room was perfect, clean and comfortable
Just a spectacular three-night stay for us.
First of all, the highlight for us was the club lounge. The hosts were wonderful and in particular I would like to mention Date. She is a wonderful person. Always had a big smile and her service was exemplary. I decided to try the Japanese breakfast the last morning and she remembered that I can’t do gluten without me mentioning it, then adjusted the breakfast as gluten free, which was an awesome breakfast. I now wish I would have ordered it every morning. The fish was incredible.
The lounge is well worth the money because we found it as a quiet respite in chaotic Tokyo. All of our breakfasts were amazing. We would pay extra again.
The room and view was beautiful. The bathroom was excellent- great shower/bath room with rainfall shower head and strong hand-sprayer. Toto toilet and an enormous amount of bath amenities.
Housekeeping was excellent. They brought new waters every day and adjusted our coffee selection (caffeine only!) after we left a written request.
Hands-down one of the better hotel stays we have had over the years and will absolutely stay again while in Tokyo.
