Methuen Inn and Conference Center

This was a terrible place to stay. The photos are misleading. All of them.
Very poor service to the rooms unless you ask. If you want hot water, you need to turn the bathtub water on and let it run for 15 -20 minutes before it gets lukewarm.

Avoid this like the plague.

The room was clean, water pressure terrible and no vending machines.

Advertised pool and free breakfast but neither were available. Bed awful in 310. TV with only minimal channels and half were static. No microwave in room.
Only plus was adjoining rooms as we were 2 families traveling together.

It’s literally your place to crash only for the night to sleep, having to use their shower was a debate. The water was boiling hot couldn’t adjust temperature of the water.

Nothing like the pictures. Dirty, wallpaper coming off the walls,tape over the old names, pain in the ass to get my room switched after they didn’t give me the room I booked to begin with.

The rooms were absolutely NOT what was advertised. We booked a king room with a sofa bed for 3 adults. Checked in and found that the room did not have a sofa bed! Went to frint desk and was told none of the rooms have sofa beds and they do t have roll away beds! Would not switch room to a 2 double beds unless I extended my stay!!
Bathroom was filthy with hair all over the place,bed rock hard with nothing more than a bedspread,no blanket! Was told we could not get any blankets/pillows til the next morning when housekeeping would be in.
Frint desk clerk was not helpful in anyway and definitely not knowledgeable in the property or the rooms. STAYAWAY

The beds are terrible. The room itself is filthy. Wallpaper peeling off walls.
Bedspreads, dirty with stains.The lamp shade itself is beyond filthy. Floors are filthy. Overall will never stay here again. On a good note, they had hot water.The shower felt good.

The hotel was adequate. Clean enough. The bathroom door was broken. The furnishings & decor were dated & in poor condition.

Bugs in room terrible condition! Want refund!!

The outside of the hotel is atrocious no signs just looks like an abandoned building the inside is ok kept decently clean

We had a hard time finding the sign for the hotel; it was in a little corner close to the side walk, but nothing in the actual building. We noticed that the carpets at the entrance and inside has Days Inn’s name. Tub and carpet dirty and rusty. The counter were outdated and with mildew. The building should be demolished.

The pictures make it look so nice but the pool was closed until further notice, the laudry mat was dirty and not working, the desk people were not friendly and when we woke up there were cockroaches everywhere in our room . Disgusting.

Area was less desirable, beds were tiny, pool was closed, no place and distance to get food. No complementary breakfast at all.

Beds were horrible, thermostat didn't work, no sheets for pul out sofe bed that was stained, garbage cans already filled with beer cans when we walked in our room, not enough towels for 4 people, front desk was rude, no grab and go breakfast, vending and ice machines not working. We could go on and on. Our kids were extremely uncomfortable and we would have canceled if it weren't already after 8 and had a 2+ hour drive home.

Booked us into occupied rooms initially. Stay met my expectation, overall.
