Lovely! Amazing experience! Highly recommended!
Pros:

Our room and bathroom were extremely good! Very spacious and super clean!
The staff were extremely kind and helpful! We checked in with Max and he was a sweetheart! He gave us tips on what to do in the city and was super kind at all times!
As I spent my birthday weekend there, when I arrived in the room there were chocolate/wine and a card wishing me a happy birthday! I loved it!!!
They made my experience in Canberra much more enjoyable!
The hotel in general is very beautiful and interesting!

Cons:

The only "problem" was that the reception was under renovation and we had to enter the property through alternative routes, but nothing that was a real problem because we didn’t hear any noise from machines or anything like that! Super quiet!

Cosy, clean and convenient
Pros:

The location was great for my visit (a base to go to ANU) and while I didn't have time to explore it this time, I love the area with access to the cinema and the lake.
The room was cosy and clean - a boutique feel with everything I needed. Seemed to be recently renovated, with a spacious and nicely designed bathroom.
Loved the beautiful autumn leaves right outside my window.
Reception staff were lovely, and checking in and out was easy and efficient.

Cons:

Unavoidable and the hotel gave me advance notice, but the restaurant there was closed for renovations so meals were slightly less convenient than usual.

Enjoyable but room for improvement.
Pros:

I liked the view from my room, I liked the size of the room itself and I liked the bathroom.

Cons:

I didn’t like the smell, it was quite dusty, especially chair in the corner of my room. I didn’t like how in the bathroom, the shower was level with the floor so when I ran the water it spread across everywhere making it very wet.

I would recommend it
Pros:

Location, everything clean, friendly and helpful staff, they let me go to my room a couple of hours earlier because I had some online meetings. I was afraid that the construction would be noise but I didn't hear a thing.

Cons:

The property was under construction so I had to have breakfast in another location. Good things were: breakfast was in a restaurant close by, not much variety but good quality food.

Great value for money and massive room, super accomodating and exceeded the special requests
Pros:

The room was massive and the place was very accomodating and went above and beyond as me and my fiancé just got engaged, florals were out and a congratulations card. Was very thoughtful.

Not happy with my stay
Pros:

Bed was nice, water pressure excellent. Staff was friendly. The heater was able to be adjusted and heated the room well.

Cons:

There was no warning that the property is undergoing renovations. There was no TV, room service or restaurant onsite. The reception was moved. The car park needed a map to understand. The room was on a ground floor facing the street and it was noisy, at least at 8pm. There were no toiletries such as bath cap or soap. The bath towel was quite small. There was no drinking water provided in the room.

As long as it doesnt get too pricey ill keep coming back.
Pros:

The room was lovely. We stayed in one of the refurbished rooms it was very comfy and stylish, a move away from the punky retro pub feel . A good choice.

Cons:

Communication could have been better. We were told we’d have to pay for an early check in. So we declined. Then when we arrived we were queried about our early check in.
