It was very convenient, being close to the station and within walking distance of tourist attractions. The staff were kind and friendly, which made a great impression. The breakfast was also delicious.

Excellent location (close to the station, great walking distance to Old Town). Great, large room with a very comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast with lots of options and some variation on a daily basis. Very friendly employees. Also a plus that I could store my luggage after checking out.

The room was comfortable and clean, and with enough space for 2 people. We got a nice view to the park just in front of the hotel, which was a nice thing. The breakfast was above expectations. Really good and great value for the money. I didn't have access to any spa facility so can't comment on that. The staff we interacted with are really nice people, always smilling and ready to answer any question. The location is very convenient, closer to the old town and several touristic points, and easier to access from the airport using public transportation.
I would suggest to add a door or curtain to the shower area.
It’s a great location just a walk to old town and close to the shops
The rooms are a good size and the staff are always friendly and helpful. We had an early morning start as we were in town for the ice hockey and Reception and the kitchen were very accommodating with this.

It is my 4th time in Opera. Amazing service! I asked for the room on he 5th floor (if it is possible) and the stuff kindly accepted my request. I appreciate this. The room was absolutely amazing-the stile, the bed, the coffee possibility, water, slipper and branded bathroom items. Perfect!
Very polite young gentlemen were on the reception-polite, friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was amazing- everything fas very tasty and served very beautifully. Young ladies were also very helpful and friendly.
The hotel service is on hight level. Kindly recommend to visit it if you would like to know what is really Riga hospitality.

Good location
This hotel failed to meet basic hygiene standards and then reneged on their own refund agreement. Here’s what happened—see all photos for evidence.
Upon arrival, we immediately noticed a ball of dust and hair next to the bed, as well as a plastic box left at the entrance. While not a major issue, we politely requested that the floor be vacuumed and the box removed. The staff suggested we change rooms. In the new room, we were shocked to find spackles of fecal matter on the toilet.
When the staff offered a room upgrade, we declined—tired from a long trip, having already moved once and skeptical that a third room would be any cleaner. Instead, we insisted on a proper cleaning of the current room. The staff promised a deep clean, but when we returned, the fecal matter remained. I had to escort the cleaners back upstairs and point out the spots twice before all were finally removed. What they called a “deep clean” was nothing more than hastily wiping away the stains I identified myself. Later that day, we discovered a dirt mark from a toothbrush and a pair of slippers under the bed, further confirming the lack of proper cleaning.
At this point, the hotel staff agreed to reimburse us for one of the two night’s stay, which we accepted as fair compensation. However, at check-out, we were denied the refund by someone who claimed the manager would never approve it. We later learned from the check-in desk that this person was, in fact, the manager—who never identified themselves to us as such.
Save yourself the trouble and avoid this place.
