Good location. Fairly quiet. Rooms clean and roomy. Good restaurant.

This place needs a lot of work! Dirty and smelly with many things broken (like bathtub spigot), lights, etc. badly worn and stained carpets. Linens that are thread bare and rough. We would never stay here again!

Friendly staff. Lighting in room at entrance by coffee machine poor. Bathrooms need an update.

Room was lovely, et got the jacuzzi suite, but took a long time to fill without running out of hot water. Ac unit was really loud, and windows had poor insulation, could hear all sorts of traffic, trucks and motorcycles outside.
No included breakfast. And no elevator.
Was right by the Sparwood Truck landmark.
Staff were very friendly, which was really nice!

The front desk staff was absolutely great! She know we were tired from our trip and ensured a smooth check-in. Room was clean and had the basic amenities.

Bed was very comfortable. Older hotel. Some updating done but needs a bit more tlc.

A little pricey for a roadside motel but had a comfortable night and the meals in the restaurant were good. Staff were pleasant and helpful

Good property to Stay

Room was clean and updated. Staff were friendly and attentive. It’s a “blue collar” hotel in a mining town but was well kept. Reasonable value for the price.

Accessible but desolate

We stayed in a refurbished room on the ground floor for one night. It was really nicely done, my son saying it was one of the best hotel showers with lots of bathroom supplies, and the beds and bedding being very comfortable. There was also a handy charging port on a desk. There was enough space for four of us, and there was a good sized fridge and a microwave. The restaurant looked good, but we didn’t eat there, and there is a lounge/bar that we didn’t go to. It was very convenient, just off the highway but not noisy, not even from other rooms. We were greeted very warmly and assisted when it was needed.

The good: Rooms are fresh, clean and quiet. Evening staff very helpful and friendly.
The not so good: check in was slow, staff appeared stressed and slightly agitated. Rooms were not ready as requested. Parking is filthy black coal on the ground on dirt parking area. Limited paved parking only in front of the building was clean-ish.
Over all pleasant, however the frustration from staff manager at check in and dirty parking area is a huge turn off. If I was travelling through, I’d have kept driving.
