Very convenient location, 15 minutes from airport., 30 minutes from Bari centre. Great staff, helpful and friendly. Fab beach club and fantastic restaurant. Rooms clean and recently been refurbished. Highly recommend.
This was the most disappointing stay I’ve ever had. It’s a very tired hotel and much of the facilities were shutting down. Day time food was either non existent or poor. Hotel couldn’t organise a hire car. Taxis were impossible and although the hotel shuttle was available it cost every time . I spent over €130 on shuttles. Would not recommend to anyone
The hotel was lovely but too far from Bari city centre. Buses do not run on a Sunday to and from hotel to Bari and taxis are around €50 each way. Shuttle to and from airport convenient for €25. Breakfast very good for a buffet with twinning tea which is a bonus. Rooms are lovely but unfortunately if you like a cup of tea or coffee when you wake up there is no facilities in the room. I bought a small kettle as i had my own tea bags. They did have a hairdryer for us ladies though.
Amazing location right on the beach, a hidden gem. Reception and office staff (replying to emails) extremely helpful.
A estadia no hotel foi tudo excelente!
Clean room
Tudo perfeito.
The location of the hotel does lend to renting or having a car available, but the hotel does have a shuttle that will take you to the nearest town/rail station if you only want the odd day out.The atmospere was generally friendly with reception and the internal bar staff being first class. The room was spacious enough and was kept very clean by the cleaning staff only fault was it was very hot and bathroom has under floor heating that was constantly on.Apart from what appeared to be a late night rave going on about a mile down the road on our first night it was very quite. It has a large beach area and a private pool and the area is perfect if you just wish to sunbath. The only problem we encountered was the beach resturant a beautiful setting as the sun going down but we ate here 3 times and on 2 was very disappointed.Qverall a nice place with a good mix of nationalities staying here and friendly staff.
Un sitio tranquilo
I'm going to be as fair as possible with this review as currently staying here.
Hotel - is lovely, very clean, staff friendly and helpful. Room is nice and bed very comfy. Good choice for breakfast. Felt the lunch offering at the beach bar could do with more options as very limited. You are miles from anything and a bus journey away. Busses are good though, cheap and do seem to run on time.
Pool is nice and quiet, bring your swim cap but it is hit and miss as to whether the lifeguards pick you up on it. Beach is nice but rocky and beach shoes a must. It can be breezy but that's nice with the heat. Sunbeds are not the best and not comfy.
BUT
Note the residence in the title. What this translates to is, dogs barking constantly through the night. Do not shut up. I dont know if this depends on which room you're in but it is relentless, been here 7 nights and 7 nights of disturbed sleep, this is the only reason we would not return.
Very nice place. Hotel people are really very kind.
A spectacular stay..accommodation, water, sea at the superlative..and the best barista David with Pina colada... Thank you !!!!! 👍
I stayed with a Tour Group @ Riva del Sole Hotel in Giovinazzo, Italy.. The hotel is clean, including my Bedroom, the bed linen and bath towels were white without any stains. I certainly slept well. The staff is friendly, the breakfast is very tasty, with plenty to eat and a large selection. The Hotel has a beach location. Did NOT use the beach because it was raining for two days. We stayed here two nights. The Hotel also has a restaurant steps away from the beach. Plenty of fresh fish selection on the menu. From here we visited Bari, Trani, Castle de Monte. Check out my photos...
A nice spot. Good pool and good breakfasts. A bit isolated if you don’t have a car.
The property was nice, the beach area very quaint. The animatori were playing music and dancing. Hotel staff directed us to Giovinazzo for dinner which had a bunch of great options. The rooms were dated, mattress too firm but all around spacious.
The beach is not nice. Huge rocks, not easy to swim. Hard to get into pool. Only 1 small opening to get in. Inconvenient. Restaurant is mediocre. I had lobster pasta with tomato sauce and had to dig lobster out. The tail was non-existent, so pratically missing, and little meat. Got sauce all over my hands. Very messy. Room is small and my bathroom shower mat was wet before i even used it. For the price of $250 Canadian, this was a rip off.
Very basic. Pool doesn’t look like photo. Has ropes around the perimeter and your not allowed in the pool without a swimming hat! Towels have to be paid for as well as deposit left. Looked very abandoned and run down.
