Amazing hotel conveniently located in busy area of Santa Cruz
Pros:

Clean Located at Santa Cruz Metro Station. Very busy area with lots of street shops and vendors. Easy access to the Santa Cruz Skywalk. Very quiet room, even though located in front of highway. Mostly local vendors in the area, not the known names like Starbucks or KFC.

Cons:

No ATMs that we could find to obtain US Dollars with a credit or Debit card in the hotel vicinity.

If you are looking for rest and peaceful breakfast avoid
Pros:

Staff where helpful and eager to please

They did give complementary yogurt although I would have preferred paying for it and knowing that it would not be forgotten.

Cons:

Some staff got upset when negative feedback heard for other staff members.
Was told that one of the waiting staff had gone to his village for a 2 month wedding. I was going to leave a tip for him however gave it to the staff who came to serve. Immediately the next day the waiting staff turned up.

I had asked for yogurt with my dinner, the waiting staff forgot to bring it and when said needed change to tip he turned up with it.

The toilet flush needed a magic touch to make it work so keep trying if it doesnt work first time.

The bathroom smelled of cigarettes and food. So if you are happy with second hand smoking you will be ok with this hotel

Overbooked with a large group of cricket kids. Bags on the floor in the breakfast area and not able to walk in between chairs to get to the breakfast buffet. No supervision from either the staff or the coachs to leave bags aside and no thought as to arrange seperate facilities for the large group or certain times where the breakfast area would not be accessible to others. Full money taken for bed and breakfast

Very loud and noisy furniture both in breakfast area and bedrooms. wooden flooring sleeping late in morning definitely will be a problem. 🤕

Remodelling done on Saturday morning and sunday afternoon with chisel and hammer being pounded. So be sure to carry ear sound buffers. Sunday is not working hours!

Instructions between staff members are announced in walkie talkies.

Once told the hotel reception the problem, the problem not dealt with effectively. Infact to be more defiant the walkie talkie used in the opposite room to maximum volume. Staff 🤣

If you are not sure of your travel plans do not book this hotel on a day to day basis as they will tell you at the night before that you need to check out the next day as they have booked themselves fully. Booking.com did show two rooms available. Reception was told of plans but no alert.

Fine hotel in the busy street.
Pros:

The hotel was very comfortable, room was spacious and clean. All the staff was very helpful and friendly.

Cons:

There was a remodelling in progress in the hotel (but it was running only during the working hours). What we struggled in the room were the mosquitoes.

Decent room for couple of nights stay..
Breakfast was excellent.
Staff was helpful and cooperative.
Room cleanliness was not up to the expectation..
It was noisy with the renovation going on in the hotel and the traffic on the main road.
