Breakfast was nice.

The place looked great in the photos and seemed similar to other places we’ve stayed at and enjoyed in other areas of Bangkok.

Sadly, it was not nearly as nice as the photos looked. The owner/manager should try staying at some of the competitors to understand what quality hospitality means.

“Sad” is the operative word. The staff, the conditions of the room, the guests, the pool, the breakfast, the amenities etc. all had a sad feel.

We went over to grab a coffee down the road at another serviced apartment and the vibe was vastly better. No reason Aspen couldn’t match the neighborhood’s vibes.

Very bad I don’t advise anyone to stay here bad property and staff is unhelpful and.at the begging they tried to cheat on me by giving me a poor condition room not matching the original reservation request that made by me. After arguing and fighting with them they gave the room so really bad bad service and I don’t advise anyone to stay at this property

A hotel I usually stay in when in Bangkok. On a quiet Soi but very close to the busy nightlife. Good value hotel

The place was huge and clean.

One room was very bad smoke smell, they change other still room condition not good, shower hot water system not good, buffet breakfast very bad quality. Not recommend to anyone.

The Photos on the Hotel web site a miles far away from the reality ! the Hotel needs urgent to have a better maintenance of the rooms.the 3rd pillow in the Cabinet was dirty ...one of the chairs in the kitchen was badly damaged ...wobbling like a "Horse" ... the bathroom hangers and other holders inside just hanging loose at the wall...the safety box wasn't attached to the wall ... I called them to fix at least that box as I feared for my passport and valuables. there is only one small Lift available for the entire hotel which take ages to "call in'' in peak times.not one window there you can open ... no fresh air ....only the AC ... which only one was working well ..the other one was just like a fan! Lots of customers are Indians , which i guess: for them this kind of Hotel is still a 4-5 Star Hotel ..but it isn't at all.Wifi and the Hotel TV sucks also .... dont forget your i pad to bring ...not really value for money there.

Good location.
Poor design, appliances are not very well maintained. Bathtub shower partition is not wide enough, water spills outside the tub. Hot and cold water flow is not balanced and weak water pressure. A bit smelly hallway near the elevators.

Not a suitable place for single women; the chain lock on our door had been broken off and the building is rather dark and dingy. very few pieces of cutlery, bowls etc were left, this place really needs a refit.

A great hotel with a very good service and excellent value for money. Very good location close to SRT and restaurants.Staff are very friendly and accommodating.

Ive been coming here for almost 15 years and its been great....but the rooms are showing its old age.

Pros: staff is excellent, rooms are big, lobby is nice, very cheap stay, one block over from big entertainment area

Cons: room is usally dirty somehow, shower water is either ice cold or super hot, beds have been hard but this last time was nice, room ac takes forever to make room cold, usually not enough towels, there is usally either broken tiles on floor or bathroom ceiling,

The rooms need to be renovated, fix the little things and this place can go back to being great.

A nice enough hotel in a very lively area.

Pictures look good, but the actual hotel is not that great. rooms are BIG, however, we found live cockroaches in our room. Not at a very convenient location. I understand that Bangkok is a very busy place, however, it takes over an hour to get anywhere. Better to walk. Breakfast was not that good. Very few choices.

A very decent hotel and worked out rather well for a longer-term stay in the heart of Bangkok. Staff were relatively decent overall. Though, I did have an incident on my final night's stay with one particular front desk staff member who is completely and utterly inept. Upon leaving, I asked this gentleman if he could call a taxi for me at 4am, as I was headed for the airport. He flatly refused, saying that in order to get a cab, it had to be booked in advance. I explained to him that I wasn't aware of this policy and asked him if he could kindly find the number of a taxi company and call a cab for me please. He again refused. He said that the only way to get a taxi was to drag all of my luggage to the main street in the middle of a very hot and humid night. I have never experienced this anywhere, at any hotel in the world and there have been many. When I asked him his name, he refused to give it to me, which is completely out of protocol for any hotel that I have ever worked, or visited. I ended up standing in the street for quite some time, waiting for a random taxi that was completing its fare, in order flag it down, thus taking me to the airport. I ended up leaving this otherwise decent hotel with a very bad feeling about it.

all in all very good, pool area to small though, breakfast good, thai, indian and western, very quiet and good room with wery soft bed, but no tearesse
