Location
Lush landscape, rustic feel
Street noise but we know nothing can be done about it.
Great breakfast on the patio taking in all the views!
We loved it, very cozy, nothing bad to report!
It was very peaceful.
The stairs to our room were steep, but the handrails were very helpful.
King bed lodge with jetted tub, NOT worth the price!!! Water never got hot, maybe body temperature. What's the point of a relaxing bath in the evening with no hot water, let alone the next morning when we tried again!! The website features a King Serta Presidential Suite EuroPillow Top bed, it must have been just as ancient as the property!! Rock-hard sheets that don't fit; the corners kept pulling up every time we moved. There is no sound barrier in the room. You can hear all conversations downstairs, including the front desk while people check in or when staff is on the phone. The property is right next to the road so you hear every car, truck, and semi that goes by. The property itself is nice; the grounds are maintained for sure. When we checked out and tried to let the lady know about the water situation the response we received was “I’ll look into that, do you want a receipt?” No apology, nothing to try and make it right. Horrible customer service!
Ein tolles, nachhaltiges, individuelles Hotel. Ganz süß, sehr geschmackvoll und natürlich. Besonders schön ist das Porzellangeschirr und kein Wegwerfgeschirr. Toll!!
The charming original lodge on a sweeping lawn down to the cabins
The huge spa tub and separate shower in room 1
Wonderful staff, friendly, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic
Sitting on the back deck watching and listening to birds flick in and out of the majestic trees
Good restaurants - River's Edge nearby and others in Grants Pass
Lugging suitcases up the stairs in the main building was a slight challenge, but an elevator would have seemed out of place in this historic lodge.
It was perfect! Beautiful cabin, complementary appetizers, homemade cookies. Fire pit with s'mores in the evening.
Breakfast is excellent! Service friendly and very accommodating!
The cabin was at the end so very private and spacious with plenty of windows and every amenity you would want. The bed was great. Even the robes were comfy - not those heavy rougher spa robes. The appetizer "time" was great - we sat on the lawn with our wine and food. It was so satisfying we ended up skipping dinner and going out for ice cream instead.. Loved the homemade Chocolate cookie that evening. And breakfast was great. When we visit this area, we will definitely stay here.
It would be wonderful to be by the river and but that's not the Inn's fault.
Beat expectations! From the room to the staff, happy hour -and the hot breakfast was amazing! Book it! You’ll be glad you did as we were.
