Beautiful old log building. Had everything I needed.
There are separate cabins and the main building looks like a large home, which it probably was at one time. I only saw a sign where to turn into the parking area. No signs to the main lobby and where to check in. I have a walker because I am disabled and it was difficult to navigate the gravel paths. The single disabled parking was not close to the lobby. But now that I know I would park in a regular space near it to check in.
The breakfast was really nice and the coffee was good. The property was cute and rustic and had some nice touches like marshmellows for making smores around the fire. There was homemade cookies in the evening.
Love the staff, the breakfast, the lodge vibes and all the extra activities like cookie time and bonfire.
We were driving through the area and decided to stop somewhere quiet and naturalistic to chill out for two nights. I saw some very positive reviews for The Weasku Inn on the Rogue River, so I booked it. I am SO glad I did!
The lodge is nostalgic of days gone by, built in 1924— so quaint and lovely. On arrival, a warm staff met us and we checked in to a picturesque cabin facing the river. Perfect! King sized SUPER comfy bed stacked high with lovely quilts. The cabin featured a lovely mountain-style, working rock fireplace with a comfy couch facing the fireplace, looking out onto the trees with the river beyond. The cabin had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable.
The Weasku offers “appetizers” in the evening—which really is more like a meal! (If you are still hungry after the appetizer hours, which we were not, restaurants for dinner are just a quick 5 minute drive away There is a bar available to purchase wines, beer and ciders, if you wish, available all day long with complementary coffees and teas, as well. And the FULL breakfast is SO well done; not like those plastic, poorly done “breakfasts” served at many places—THIS is a proper, complete breakfast meal.
The Weasku staff are so friendly. We will most certainly return to this lovely spot. If what you want is a respite from the crazy, a quiet cozy place to relax and comfortable accommodations, you will love The Weasku.

Husband and I stayed in a king river cabin, which was very charming and warm, clean, and quiet - loved the crank-out windows, fireplace, and rocking chairs on our private patio! The grounds are lovely, and beautifully kept. The river "view" is not a direct view due to foliage growth, but we could hear it and walk down to it. Staff were kind and helpful. The included hot breakfast each morning was well stocked and tasty. Chocolate cookies each night and s'mores kits were awesome. We had a great deal through Travelzoo, which included a gift card for the River's Edge restaurant-fantastic food and service (ask for Devin)! The only two things that weren't perfect for us was the bit-too-hard bed, and the not-so-strong coffee, but these are just our own personal preferences. Overall, it was a great trip and we would definitely return!
Excellent ambience. Peaceful. Relaxing
It was great all round
Everything, The welcoming evening hot food and wine, the great breakfast in the morning, the fire pit , the quiet comfortable room. We are addicted!
The staff was exceptional, the breakfast was delicious, the evening appetizers and cookies were an unexpected treat. We were in a cabin that faced the river and the room was huge. Bed was very comfortable. Inn was a short drive out of town so very convenient as we were passing through. A wonderful alternative to a hotel in Grants Pass.
We loved this inn! Although we could hear the river, we didn’t have a view from the deck because of the vegetation. From outside we could also hear some noise from I-5 and the road. It’s a beautiful peaceful property but not secluded.
This year marked our 3rd visit to Weasku and we're already looking forward to our next. The staff is consistently gracious, the old-world charm provides a sense of unhurried peacefulness, the setting is beautiful and really--where else can you get a full breakfast, an afternoon buffet, evening cookies and also s'mores around the firepit? Our 5 hour drive from home is always repaid in great memories. And let me not forget to mention the lovely cabins and excellent beds...
Everything was amazing. The staff is amazing and very helpful. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast is amazing. My boyfriend still thinks of those biscuits & gravy. The beauty of Nature! Oh, you can definitely enjoy the mountains, trees, wind and silence. We are definitely coming back.
Open cleanest, and it was an outstanding view
I didn’t book enough days to enjoy the outdoors of the Pacific Northwest. Thanks again for an awesome day.
Wonderful 3-day stay in a king cabin. We appreciated the table and chairs for playing games and the love seat for lounging. The staff and other guests were friendly. Nice informal atmosphere and beautiful setting. We especially enjoyed the evening fire with s'mores.
