Location was excellent. Right in the middle of the city. Very happy with the room. Only two flights of stairs. We loved the lift when we had over indulged with the local cuisine.
the hotel is close to the train station and to the center. the room are old fashioned and very clear. nice breakfast and great staff
the hotel is along a very noisy street, and the rooms are not soundproofed at all
The location was central and reception helpful
Stairs were a problem, the hotel looks and feels tired.
Very centrally located, just over a five-minute walk from Palermo Station. Rooms are pretty basic but spacious. Breakfast is ok.
Central location means can be quite noisy as it's on a very busy road. Rooms/amenities pretty old, so you're paying for the location basically.

Localization was good, near the train station. The personel was very kind and helpful (especially the lady who served breakfast). There was a great and cheap cefateria nearby (Bar 71).
Breakfast was good but unfortunately it consisted mostly of sweet pastries (I would like more vegetables and fruits), coffee was great. In the room the second bed wasn't so comfortable (but the main double bed was very OK). The neighbourhood (near the train station) is a little messy and neglected (like unfortunately still many parts of Palermo).
This lovely typical budget hotel was perfect for a short break to explore Palermo for the first time. So close, 10 minute walk, to the train station with direct access to and from the airport so no need for the cost of a transfer.
The hotel staff are warm, welcoming and helpful and all speak English. Breakfast is an extensive continental breakfast with a full range of local pastries, fruit, juice, meats and cheeses. The coffee is exceptionally good for a hotel,
The key tourist areas are within a fifteen minute walk from the hotel but if you like want to get a real feel for the city just a couple of steps off the Via Roma you will find lively bars, cheap authentic restaurants and interesting architecture and street art. At no point did we feel unsafe or threatened.
The hotel is an easy walk from the Central Train station, easy to walk to the Quattro Canti/historic center, or easy to grab a taxi for further distances. I really loved how helpful the staff were. I booked this hotel having read on booking.com that upper rooms were accessible by elevator. But the elevator usage for upper floors is mainly for carrying up luggage, not for regular use. When I found my room was on an upper floor, I mentioned that I have a knee problem, but I would make it work. But the desk staff (I did not get his name!) arranged a different room on the main floor for me, which was very kind. It made all the difference in my stay. The room was sizeable, and the ensuite bathroom as well, and was very comfortable. Also, the weather had changed to colder before I arrived, and the first night my room was VERY cold. When I told the staff the next day, I understood they had changed the temp settings for the warmer weather, but they made an adjustment which made it much more comfortable - I really appreciated that. The remaining days were fine. I did not get the breakfast included rate, but you can tell them the night before if you would like to have breakfast and add it to the bill, which I did once, and the breakfast was very nice. And the price was a good value.
Nothing really. The hotel is on the 3rd floor of an older building, but has all the amenities you need, with the charm of being an older hotel, and the staff are super helpful.
