Pros:

Magnifique emplacement et jardin superbe. Le personnel est très gentil et des navettes sont disponibles pour nous amener au port. Piscine jolie, plus petite que sur les photos.

Cons:

Nous avons été déçus de la chambre, vieillotte, avec vue sur l’arrière ; le petit lit d’appoint convient pour un enfant mais pas un adolescent. Le wifi est lent et le petit déjeuner est moyen. Hôtel trop cher pour les prestations offertes.

Un oasi di tranquillità ma vicina al centro storico.
Pros:

Struttura bellissima, curata ed elegante con gusto siciliano. Stanza vista mare circondata da un giardino con piante e fiori profumatissimi.

Hervorragend, für Aufenthaltszeit 1 Woche.
Pros:

Kurzer Spaziergang zum Stadtzentrum. Zum Strand etwas umständlich mit Shuttles, gilt aber für quasi alle Hotels in Lipari. Die Hotelanlage selbst ist hervorragend, auch für Ganztagesaufenthalte.
Evtl. wichtig für Familien: das Hotel hat eine angenehme Ruhe, Kinder werden am Pool manchmal (auf gute Weise) "beruhigt".

L’Établissement propose une navette gratuite et peut organiser pour nous des visites. Personnel très agréable un grand merci à Juditta pour son extrême gentillesse.

Hotel perfecto para disfrutar de Lipari y del relax de la naturaleza

Absolutamente todo. El personal es súper amable, siempre dispuesto a ayudar. Traslado gratuito desde el puerto al hotel (está muy cerca andando pero se agradece cuando vas cargado con maletas). Ubicación muy buena, entorno precioso. Limpieza excelente. Súper cómodo con frigorífico y terraza para tomar el aperitivo. Buena piscina. Ambiente tranquilo y perfecto para pasar unos días de lujo!

Nada. Volvería sin duda!

The hotel is set on a hillside overlooking Lipari’s old town and the Mediterranean, so the views are simply beautiful. Although it’s slightly elevated, it’s still very convenient. The ferry terminal is about a 10-minute walk away, and from there it’s easy to reach Corso Vittorio Emanuele and continue into the lively heart of the town. The walk back uphill is gentle rather than strenuous, and for those who prefer not to walk, the hotel also offers a shuttle service at scheduled times.

This isn’t a trendy boutique hotel or a sleek, ultra-modern resort, but it is still charming. It has a timeless style that evokes old-school European vacations. The rooms are spread across several low-rise buildings connected by little paths and alleyways, giving the property the feel of a small Italian village rather than a single hotel complex.

Our room had a lovely terrace overlooking the swimming pool, and despite the hotel being well occupied, it always felt peaceful and uncrowded. The quiet setting made it a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring the island.

What truly made our stay exceptional, however, was the staff. Every member of the team we interacted with was warm, professional, and incredibly attentive. They seemed to anticipate our needs before we even had to ask, making everything effortless from check-in to departure.

The front desk also arranged all of our island excursions, and every recommendation was excellent. We didn’t need to research or coordinate anything ourselves—they took care of all the details and matched us with exactly the kind of experiences we were looking for.

Overall, Hotel Bougainville combines a beautiful location, a relaxing atmosphere, and genuinely outstanding hospitality. It played a big part in making our stay in Lipari so memorable, and we would gladly stay there again.
