I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. We travelled around Canada and stayed in seven hotels both 4 and 5 star, but L'Hermitage outshone them all and was definitely my favourite. Firstly, the location is excellent only a 5 min walk to "Vancouver Central" metro which goes directly to the airport and "Granville" which goes to the Waterfront, so very easy to travel to and from.
The staff were incredibly helpful, informative and friendly whenever we walked by. We were offered a cool bottle of water on arrival and departure which was a lovely touch. However, there was also a 'flavoured water' decanter always available in the reception area for guests with different flavours daily, with the lemon and cucumber flavour being our particular favourite - this was something that none of the other hotels (even highly renowned 5 star ones) provided really impressed on us this hotel's attention to detail! Furthermore, we were offered complimentary bikes also to support sightseeing around the city which was so much fun as Vancouver is a very 'bike-friendly' place. These were also available to us at short notice and this facility really added to our enjoyment of our stay.
Our room was immaculately clean with items such as the remote control being so hygienically cleaned and disinfected it was placed inside a plastic bag. We also had a lovely big super-king size and comfortable bed with a fabulous bathroom including a separate shower, bath, toilet and marbled tile effect throughout. The shower in particular, was amazing, so powerful and almost spa-like! There was also a magnified vanity mirror provided near to a plug socket with illuminated light very useful for applying make-up. In addition in our room there was dressing gowns, iron, ironing board and we had also booked a room with a balcony with a table, chairs and sun-lounger so this was a lovely addition for us too. The general facilities included a pool, hot tub and absolutely huge gym which had x3 treadmills, x2 cross-trainers and a wide range of hand-held weights including a multi-gym, mats, water, towels and fabulous cool aircon. Overall, I couldn't fault this hotel and considering this is a 4 star hotel it outshone many of the 5 star hotels that we had stayed in on our two week trip around Canada - so for me, this was my favourite hotel of all and I wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend it and will definitely be returning to stay when I visit Vancouver again.
A really good stay in a eeally nic hotel. Happy to recommend!
Very pleasant and relaxed stay - it all just works well and is very easy.
Excellent staff, great room. Could not fault it.
The best location right in downtown and walkable to central station, shops etc. beautiful hotel with super helpful and friendly staff. Our room/apartment was the best we’ve ever stayed in and great if you don’t fancy eating out every night. The outdoor pool was a lovely bonus in the city. Highly recommended if visiting Vancouver
Our room was available earlier than expected. We were offered a complimentary coffee whilst we waited which was lovely.
Quick turnaround as heading early to Toronto. Food on restaurant good and room comfortable. Staff excellent
I only stayed for one night but the room was lovely with a beautiful bathtub!
The elevators weren't working the next day and unfortunately there was a bit of miscommunication with some of the staff.
This hotel, right in the heart of downtown Vancouver is a heaven on peace and quiet. We stayed in July 2026 as part of a Canadian tour for three nights. Very attentive service, helpful and chatty staff and good food in the Orangery. Would recommend a stay if you want a chilled vibe and a well appointed hotel.
Central location in the city
Pool area not as inviting as in the pictures
From beginning to end, our time at this hotel was flawless. The room was immaculate and spacious and the amenities were great. We would definitely go back to this hotel again
Excellent location, wonderful designed room and lobby, good facilities, nice bar, pool and terrace, lots of trees, welcoming service and without any doubt -a great location

Nothing....
Everything!
Nothing!
We stayed one night at the L'Hermitage Hotel in Vancouver and were extremely impressed. We arrived first thing in the morning from a cruise. The welcome was amazing from Natalia at reception. She took the time to provide us with detailed information on what to visit in Vancouver, obtained tickets for the hop on hop off bus tour and made our dinner reservation. She also gave us a free voucher for coffee in the lounge and was able to check us into our room early. The hotel was in excellent condition. Our bedroom and bathroom was spacious and modern. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
酒店各个方面都很好,地理位置优越,服务也很赞
如果厕所是washlet就更好了
Good location. Warm and welcoming atmosphere. Top quality room, decor and fixtures. Cleanliness 5. Noise level none. Restaurant dinner meal was delicious. Service...exceptional!!! Amenities great. I was warmly welcomed by friendly young lady...given great tourist recommendations, offered after checkout services that really helped me prepare for my red eye flight.
. Just all around helpful staff.
I was pleasantly surprised. everything from the staff how helpful and kind they were...to the beauty of the hotel. The restaurant is beautiful, the food is really delicious. The staff are quick and helpful.
I found a hair in the bathtub, made me feel it wasn't cleaned properly. And the pool on Saturday morning felt like a man used it to teach little kids swimming lessons. It took away from me enjoying my pool time. Because he was definetly teaching swimming lessons. It should not be used for this if guests are there.
