A little hard to find off of Hwy 395. Even with GPS.
Nice building, staff, a little higher-end breakfast buffet.
Why no overhead lighting in the room? Just a couple of lamps--too dark. I kept having to take things into the bathroom to see them properly. Why only 1 10-inch diameter wastebasket for the whole room?

The cost was crazy and I would have liked an outdoor pool. The bed was pretty uncomfortable and the pillows were not good.

Location was great, right off the freeway. Breakfast was great too! Room size was spacious.
Bathroom was not very clean. The shower had mold along the bottom of the door and sink was not clean around the drain.
We book all the time through Booking.com and upon our arrival, my husband went in to check us in, and he was told to come get me to come and check in (I was the person who made the reservation). We were also told that we could not put the charge on a different card, that it had to be the one I made the reservation with. Of all the reservations that we have made, this is the first and only time this has happened to us. All the other hotels were very accommodating and had no problem with my husband checking us in, or using a card to our preference. That was disappointing after driving 10 hours to deal with that whole issue. The girl at the desk was kinda rude, and then told us we could put the incidental charge on a different card. Makes no sense. We won't be back.
Breakfast was decent. No knifes to cut my waffle. The hotel was clean. The front desk agents were kind and helpful.
OMG!! The beds looked all clean and super comfy BUT the mattresses were hard. I did not sleep well, no one in my room did.

The rooms are spacious and accommodating.
The pool/hot tub facility was closed by staff three hours after check-in, with no explanation. Then, the next day, they extended that closure through Monday. The reason we chose to book with Hampton Inn was to have a pool and hot tub access. Also, customers with large trailers and toy haulers were allowed to take up to nine parking spaces instead of parking on the street with ample space. This pushed me, someone disabled with a disability tag to not have proper parking. These things are very frustrating to me, and I feel I over spent for nothing. Im very disappointed and will not be booking here when I come back to visit family.
The TV remote did not control the volume as would be expected and the staff didn't understand how to fix it. The breakfast room ran out of cups so they had to use room cups with no lids,
. It all seemed poorly run and unplanned circumstances didn't have any good resolve.
The beds were comfortable
They advertised a pool, that was closed when we got there. My kids were looking forward to swimming after a long day of driving. I went to breakfast at 6 when it opened and was able to have a good meal, but my husband went at 6:45 and they were already out of a lot of the food and even milk! Breakfast goes from 6-10...... disappointing.
Staff need to be more friendly and attentive to our questions.
A long time ago this hotel brand had very good breakfast.. really poor quality.
