Schöner Aufenthalt
Pros:

Die Lage ist super, direkte Strandlage. Jedoch bis ins Zentrum sind es ca. 2,5km. Man geht ca. 40 Minuten. Es fährt aber auch ein öffentlicher Bus ins Zentrum, die Haltestelle ist direkt vor der Tür. Das Frühstück war wie immer in einem Barcelo Hotel sehr gut. Das Abendessen haben wir jedoch öfters ausgelassen, da haben wir in anderen Barcelo Hotels schon besser gegessen. Es ist auch nicht notwendig dies zu buchen, da es auf der 7km langen Promenade zahlreiche Restaurants und Fast-Food-Lokale gibt.
Poolanlage ist wunderschön.

Cons:

Das Abendessen war geschmacklich eher enttäuschende (ungewürzte, ölig fett, bei der Paella war der Reis noch hart)
Bereich bei der Rezeption und Bar ist ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen und gehört neu gestaltet. Ebenso der Bereich draußen vor der Bühne.

Pros:

Location great. We ran in the morning so got a little snack before and then a proper breakfast when we were finished. Lovely. Arrived at 11pm from a late flight and only stayed one night so that made it a great first stepping stone in our trip.

Leider enttäuschend
Cons:

Die Duscharmatur hat nicht funktioniert. Außerdem fehlt der dringend notwendige Bedienungshinweis. Um den Hotelgästen zu erklären, wie sie richtig funktionieren sollte, hat das Personal sogar eine Duscharmatur unter seinem Tresen liegen.

Duży hotel, z dwoma basenami, na dużym i bardzo zielonym terenie. Przyjazny dla rodzin z dziećmi, ale i dla starszych gości. Świetne położenie, tuż przy plaży, a jednocześnie blisko lotniska w Maladze, z którego można szybko i tanio przyjechać kolejką. Bliskość stacji to kolejny atut tego miejsca, bo na krótsze wycieczki można udać się bez samochodu. Ale w razie czego - hotel oferuje bardzo dobre warunki wynajmu auta.
W hotelu jest bardzo czysto, posiłki bardzo urozmaicone (w droge powrotną zabraliśmy kilka kilogramów więcej :)

Pros:

Absolutely fabulous hotel, from start to finish. Very polite staff, the check in was very smooth and we had booked a room with full Seaview and it did not disappoint. Absolutely stunning views of the beachfront and the fantastic pool. We had also booked breakfast and the buffet quality and selection could not be faulted. Lovely big spacious reception area with a bar and shop and lots of seating to just sit and relax. The hotel felt very safe and is located in a lovely quiet part of Torremolinos, only 5 minutes drive from the airport but a selection of shops and restaurants a short stroll away. Our hotel room was very comfortable and super comfortable bed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Occidental and look forward to returning soon.
