Our stay was a comfortable one. Service was good. Every time we requested something it is delivered in due time.
One issue it needs to be entertained is the age of the hotel. Needs quite a good renovation. The shower stall grout needs a good cleaning ie mildew. Glad my mildew allergy was at bay. Plumbing leaking from sink faucet to shower one.
First time in this hotel. My parents loved it! Staff are friendly and easy. Thank you guys for making my parents stay awesome! My mom and dad really had a great time!
The ceiling of the bedroom is very dusty. Lots of small cockroaches from the bedroom, dining table, floor and the confort room. Stove not working.
Spacious room - and additional kitchen utensils provided on request
Would recommend. The hotel is at a nice area with lots of shops and places to eat. Its close to everything you need. The staff is friendly and housekeeping personnel is great
Continue to be friendly
I booked the unit for the location since I didnt want to be troubled by traffic for my early appointment and meeting.
Reception staff were nice and helpful when I presented my ID for the booking.
Its an old building and as are the ro I got. Parqueted floors and pieces of furniture that beg to be refurbished. (Lower mattress is like an old lady showing her drawers, and lamp that craves for a newer shade).
While thankful for the comforter and mattress, i would have loved to have another pillow since the one provided was a bit flat.
The bathroom was clean. And though the shower was kind of old style, the hot and cold water works. I didnt use the towel provided.
Parking is first come first served so you have to advise the reception staff of how many parking slots you need or if you need to extend the time to check your car out of the building.
The unit has a mini kitchenette and fridge. Coffee sachets and kettle. It also provides some complimentary stuff like water and small soap and toothbrush. Closet has hangers.
Overall the place is clean and spacious. Location is really the reason for checking in. It is near lots of hole in the wall restaurants, cafes, fastfood, convenience stores and mall.
Spacious. The staffs were courteous and helpful. Parking is with a fee which is limited to one per unit and have to go around the street to get access in at the back. The pool was not as expected which is smaller than thought it would be.
The curtain looks it's not washed for a year and was sneezing the whole time I stayed there. Toilet, drainage seems clogged, undone walls, dirty curtains, intermittent wifi and definitely a no go.
Just look at the bottom wall panel and looks like nobody stayed for ages. Terrible!
BSA is in a perfect location but needs to update their towels, linens and curtains in the room. The yellowish towels need to be retired and changed. The crew service are excellent from the concierge, cleaners, bellboy and security. They need to fix bathroom
Partition doors and install an appropriate length bathroom shower curtains so the entire bathroom dont get wet We continue to stay here because of the location and the crew. But owners should remember that are more airbnb available in the same area that offers better amenities
Great location. Awesome facilities. Room service was very polite and helfpul. Everything in the room was working, it's big and very clean. Value as it's best.
Affordable unit is big enough for a family of 4 since the building is one of the oldest in the area.
Has a receiving area (sofa set) with TV.
Kitchen has refrigerator, electric range, electric kettle and basic utensils (pan, ladle, plates, coffee mugs, spoon and fork).
Receiving area and bedroom has a separate air con unit.
Toilet and Bath is a bit small.
Caution: Hot water can be scalding hot so be careful.
Location is good and fair ... needs improvement...
simple and clean @ a very low cost
The staff all bar the guard are rude. The prices are all hidden bordering on fraud/deception. If through Agoda. What they do is say your Agoda transaction on card didn’t go through. My card works perfectly here. Then they say you can pay in cash or card here they double the price it’s a total con. I said to cancel booking they say non refundable well it is on those conditions. I eventually on threatening to get police I got a refund be really careful it’s a scam for either staff or managers. Pictures below.
+ Very quiet (a hard find in Metro Manila). Accessible to most important landmarks in the area,
- Room needs modernization, it was like at least 20 yrs back in time, including a huge TV. Kitchen had some misses in cleaning (otherwise room was well clean). No signal for Globe data in room.
The place is very convenient and walking distance to the mall. At first, the room I supposed to check- in have an electricity problem. It was nice they upgrade in a executive room.
Stayed in hotel for 1 week. Booked a 2 bed unit. First room offered, checked bed and bed was dirty, somebody had peed the bed and housekeeping just made the bed up and left rage sheet in. Living room was dirty and couch was unliveable. Transferred to 2 bed unit on 17 floor. Very dingy, again dirty. Only 1 lift working. Long wait for the 1 working lift. Worst hotel that I have stayed in. Check in staff did seem to care when I complained about state of room. Despite great location to Greenbelt, DO NOT USE. (Booked through Qantas).
We left home very excited for our first trip to the Philippines at 8.30am on Monday morning and arrived in the hotel on Tuesday evening at nine pm. We were travel weary to say the least but had good flights. The family consisted of myself and husband, pregnant daughter, son in law, and a two year old grandson. We were greeted by friendly staff who gave us keys for our room 2010, 20th floor and daughter and family 2507, 25th floor, it was 30 plus degrees, then we were informed that the lift was OUT of ACTION!!!!! WE HAD TO WALK UP FIFTY, AND 75 FLOORS respectively, I drank two bottles of water to enable me to get to the 20th floor I am reasonably fit in my 60ties but it did me in!!! And of course at the same time we had to get a two year old one a pregnant lady upstairs, it was a terrible start to our holiday. We arrived in our room, it was grubby, there was a kettle a TV plenty of storage space, sink fridge and bathroom, the towels were clean but grey one towel person. The bedding was clean. I went to the balcony to throw open the door and to sit down and recover only to find it locked, I phoned reception apparently we were not authorised to use it.???? I told them I needed to use it to have a cigarette, (no smoking hotel) they said no smoking in Makati, I was later to find out you have to ask for designated smoking areas aghhhhh, to return to the phone call (am furious) I asked if the lift was working, no ma'am, I asked for my luggage to be carried up and two extra pillows, in as polite a manner as I could muster!! The last of the luggage arrived at half past midnight being carried up by staff.
The next morning the lift is working, there is also another lift under maintenance, it was still under maintenance two weeks later, there appears to be no SERVICE LIFT!! So all staff, luggage, cleaning, heavy machinery ect go up and down in this one lift, not surprised that it broke down again before we left.
The reception is 24 hours and there is access to a safety deposit box at reception.
The towels were changed daily, no service on Sunday, the beds changed weekly, the net curtains were very dingy, small windows to open. Shower not brilliant but usable again dingy. The air con worked well.
Plenty of laundry services around two/three pounds for three to four kilos of weight, three days return.
The room was old and also dirty. Corners had dusty and dirt. Bath towels are thin, old and stained.
Most frustrating was the elevators. There are only 2, and one was down for refurbishing. The other one had styrofoam hung on the walls. But two times in five days, both were broken. I was on the 24th floor and the front desk staff told me "we have no idea when it will be fixed, but you can take the stairs. " 24 flights in steamy weather??? The staff didn't care. Other guests had similar complaints. Place is relatively cheap, but still not worth the money.
