The beds were uncomfortable, the ac in the room was substantially loud. Sounded like it was at the brink of breaking down. No reception, wifi was useless, had to ask more than once for the extra towels and toilet paper. since we were there for multiple day stay. Room was not service the second day. We had to physically go down to get towels & toilet paper. The food at the restaurant was below average. The pool was inundated with softball teams (children & teen) and their parents during the stay unable to use the space, the halls were so loud because of the guest running around. Had to call in front desk make aware of situation. This was past quiet hours.

Cleanliness
location was good love the hotel circle area. although the exit on Google maps isnt very good lol but at least I found it. staff was really nice and helpful. bed was comfortable location of the room to the elevator was great.
I dont know about other rooms but our bathroom wasnt that great. Bathroom had some questionable stains on the wall next to the toilet. there is a huge Crack on the shower wall. the water pressure for the shower was not that great either. pillows for the bed not that good.
It’s in a great location for the area…easy to get to so many different activities.
The shower drain didn’t work so well…I was afraid I would overflow the pan while I took my shower.
I liked how centralized the property was
I didn’t like that the hot tub did not work. I specifically chose this hotel because it had a hot tub. I had just had hip surgery and after walking around SeaWorld, I need somewhere to soak because you can’t soak in the bath bathtubs in the rooms because they are too short.
How convenient it was to downtown San Diego and how kind the staff was!
Water pressure in the bathroom could’ve been stronger, but besides that it was a 10/10
The location is good and the staff is nice.
We couldn't open the room door with the key card, so we had to go back to the front desk to recheck in. This happened twice.
Price was good
Room was stuffy. Not great AC. The hot tub was blocked off with a sign that it is down. You should be prepared for 4th of July for your guests. The girl at the front desk had a tinge of sarcasm and arrogance. When I asked for extra keys she said she didn’t know if she should because keys were limited from guests not returning them. How was that my fault or problem.
Location was good, close to downtown and all activities. Hotel was quiet. Front desk staff was nice and helpful. We were given a room early which was nice, but it didn't feel like the room was fully ready (bathroom wasn't clean, there was a lot of long, black hair everywhere).
When I booked it said breakfast is included in final price, yet we had to buy our own breakfast. If you sell a room with breakfast included, why do I have to pay extra for breakfast?
Room could use a little more cleaning, especially the bathroom. There was a lot of long, black hair everywhere. Also the tub needs a better drain, it would fill half way up with water every time we showered, and the water would stay for at least an hour.
Housekeeping needs to be more attentive - they took our towels, even though we hung them (they have a sign that says they won't replace the towels if they are hanged), but they never replaced them. So we had no towels when we came back to the room at night. They emptied one of the trash cans, but left two other full. Finally they took my bed cover and, again, never brought a new one (no clue why would they take it in the first place).
Then they left TWO business cards asking for tips. That felt a little bizarre - how can you ask for money for a job I had to do for you (I had to go down and get my own towels and empty my own trash cans)?
room size and view
The only positive part was the staff who brought our food for breakfast and the woman taking our order. Room was clean.
Front desk was not pleasant upon check in. My husband and I stood there for a good 2-3 mins while we waited for the staff late at night (10pm we came late to check in) and no one else was in line. We waited for the staff to finish their conversation. Then the next day the woman working the front desk this morning was rude and looked stressed. She was very loud & heard her constantly apologizing to men about something at the desk. Breakfast wasn’t very clear either. Wasn’t a traditional biggest style spread, it was confusing for us first timers. Ordering in line and have the Starbucks people take our orders. The waiting staff was very kind. They brought our food with a smile.
Bess were comfortable
Check in was chaotic, we were in our room and had another person use their key to come in saying it was their room. The room was double booked we had been there for an hour when this happened. Need to get new keys we had to wait in long checkout line again with no real explanation of why it happened.
The location was fantastic. It was close to everything I wanted to see and do and I was even able to explore a little bit more of the areas nearby that I didn't know much about. This hotel was also more cost effective than staying downtown.
This hotel met expectations.
