Outside of the hotel looks tired and a bit old looking, reception area and restaurant are more modern and nicely put together, food is really nice and you have a good variety too choose

Lovely welcoming atmosphere with fruendly staff. Perfect location for our visit. Value for money.

Got there late, just before kitchen closed. Reception staff were great, and moved us to a room nearer the reception when they saw my wife's crutch (my wife is disabled). Also pointed out that the kitchen was about to close and to make sure we got an order in quickly. Even made sure the person taking the order got it on time.
Room was comfortable - bed was comfier than the Premier Inn we'd stayed at a few weeks previously.
Unfortunately didn't get a chance to check out the pool etc.
Breakfast was decent - it was nice to see pancakes as an option!
They also made a fresh batch of scrambled eggs on request.
They should allocate more than two disabled parking spaces, though. Both were full when we got there, and although we managed to park reasonably close to the reception the main issue was being unable to open the passenger door fully to make it easier for my wife to get in and out of the car. But that's just a niggle in an otherwise decent stay.

Breakfast was great, dinner was poor in terms of both options and service.

Have stayed here several times just seems to be getting worse. I ordered a drink to e waitress who was friendly came back to say they didn’t have it, I ordered a salad they didn’t have it I ordered a desert after waiting a long time she came back 5 minutes later and again didn’t have it. When I left this morning the chap on the desk asked how was my stay I was honest and said not as good as usual he then didn’t say a word printed my bill and I left

Very friendly helpful staff, especially James at the front desk. Room was clean and comfortable.

The pool area was very outdated and in dire need of redecoration. The sauna in the gents was more of a cramped cleaning cupboard.
Staff all seemed very friendly, including the female member of staff who wanted to come into the male changing room while guests were changing.

Bit untidy outside the entrance but otherwise all good

I was given one of the basement rooms a long walk from reception. I was told if i wasn't happy, they couldn't do anything because the hotel was full. The walls were paper thin. I could hear next doors full conversation and people having sex in the room across the corridor. I got very little sleep and had 2 early starts. Just wasn't ideal. The staff were lovely and helpful and the breakfast was great

The staff were very friendly and supportive. The frustrating part was the restaurant. Orders are paid for in advance and on two separate occassions several orders were not available in the kitchen! Refunds were prpmised both times but on checkout, no one knew about the refunds. I do appreciate however that I was given vouchers for complimentary breakfast and drinks but that does not resolve the flawed restaurant system. If you are there for business, it can be quite noisy and not condusive to work but its a good for holidays especially if travelling with children.

It was advertised that there were electric chargers; there were not. In addition, it was quite cold in the room and I had to request a heater and the sound of cars on the road was audible all night.

Pictures show a much classier hotel than the Motel that it really is.
Restaurant and bar poor and very pricy for what is offered.
Key reason for booking was location and EV charger which upon arrival was no longer there.
Service very good from the team and breakfast was excellent which helps offset this.

Every member of staff we met was very welcoming and friendly. Some nice touches for dogs staying overnight. Food was very good and great value. Comfortable room/beds and quiet despite being just off the M6. Bathroom a bit small but perhaps the consequence of being a family room and more space given over to beds. Will definitely stay again.

Condition of hotel and general cleanliness was poor. Room too small for the scale of the furniture. Air conditioning wasn't working. On the positive side, staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good.

Great halfway stop on way North, clean & comfortable room, nice bar to have a drink in & excellent breakfast buffet with plenty of choice.

loved the property they said they had a problem with the aircon offered cool drinks and ice lollys however we found it was too cold throughout the hotel. food was a little pricy in the resteraunt on the first night. however the breakfast was great in the morning. i enjoyed the gym swim sauna and jacizzi

A good welcome and easy check in

A perfect place for an overnight pit stop. Very convenient for the M6
