We had a beautiful room with a private terrace. I loved the tour service with the drop off service to the Caminita del Rey...do this! The train station is across the street so it could be noisy.
We didn't stay long enough! Our tub would not drain and they fixed it quickly. I didn't know how to operate the a/c...use the remote!
The location and views are beautiful. The room, bathroom facilities and private garden terrace. The friendly and efficient staff. A place to chill out by the pool, have a drink on the restaurant terrace. Felt totally relaxed and loved it.
Locatie, ontbijt en kamer
Een paar bediensters waren minder vriendelijk
Location is incredible and the view from our duplex was breathtaking. Fantastic facilities with pool area and bar. The decor in our ‘wine themed’ room was really quirky and unique. The stairs are tight but added something to the whole experience! An ideal stop for doing the Caminito as the shuttle bus starts right across the road. We had a lovely relaxing stay and wouldn’t hesitaste to go back in the future and explore more of the area.
Car park under construction and therefore closed. We didn’t know about this until we arrived and this was one of the reasons we chose this property. Luckily we got a space on the on-street parallel parking opposite the property but this does get busy with people going for the bus. The other alternative is down a very steep hill which wouldn’t be good with suitcases. Reception staff were pleasant, however bar staff weren’t the most welcoming or friendly. This is a shame as we would have spent more time enjoying the bar area had the atmosphere been a bit warmer.
we booked this hotel due to the close proximity to the caminit hike. i had a car and originally was going to drive to the parking lot of the camiti visitor site. then take a shuttle to a closer entrance. then walk about 15 min to the actual entrance. at the end of the hike you are about 10 min away from the hotel and easily walk able. so the receptionist recommended that i take the shuttle there and just walk back, thats a huge benefit from the hotel. no having to go back and fetch your car at the visitor center after the hike. shower was good. the rooms were thin walled so i could hear snorers on both side of my room. our room had 2 levels with a spiral staircase, which i thought was a little dangerous. bed was comfortable. we left for our hike early in the morning so they packed breakfast for us. after the hike we were able to have a shower at the hotel.
thin walls and could hear neighbours. spiral staircase could be dangerour.
Location for the caminito and guided tour starts here
Facilities were excellent. Restaurant menu was great for us. Lovely rooms. Gorgeous pool. Excellent activity booking centre. And well organised tours. Staff were incredibly friendly. Parking was very convenient.
Insects are small problem. Would have liked screens on windows so could have them open but no insects coming in. Apart from that it was all good.
