Check in was easy, I arrived a little late in the evening. If you are looking for a place just south of the busy party life, this is the spot to be. 2 Minute walk from the beach, and 5 minutes away from food/drinks and fire dancers at night. Although not easy for airport transportation, cabs can easily get to you for transportation around the island.
The room was perfect. Really worth the value.

It was bad. We got cigarette smell in the room and the staff said the smoke from balcony. We insisted to changed room and the room's floor was sandy and with mosquito. The only good for this hotel is near beach.

For the money, this is a great hotel to stay during a vacation to Phuket (Kata Island). I went during the Covid19 "sandbox" system. This meant there were very few people there. The staff was helpful but had limited English fluency (this usually wasn't a problem -- but don't expect any detailed discussions on something urgent). Even with all of the covid19 protocols, they did their best when my information got lost in the bureacratic shuffle.

The rooms are what you should expect for 20 USD/night. It has a faux French feel to it. Thin but clean beds. Nice shower and bath but the construction is shabby. Everything has a 'cheap' feel compared to what they are emulating.

Still, for the price, great hotel!
