Nice hotel in a great location.
Pros:

Great location, only 10mins from the train station and 5 from the town. Good, friendly service, especially from the bar staff. Good sized rooms.

Cons:

No temperature control in the rooms.

Bis auf das Einchecken ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt in einem schönen Hotel
Pros:

Das Personal war in jeder Abteilung sehr freundlich. Die Zimmer bzw. das ganze Hotel sehr sauber. Parkplätze waren genug vorhanden, leider waren beide Ladesäulen (für unser E-Auto) nicht nutzbar. Die Cocktails in der Lounge waren sehr lecker und das Essen auch. Selbst Sonderwünsche wurden perfekt erfüllt.

Cons:

Der Check-in Vorgang sollte dringend geändert werden. Wir waren zu zweit und hatten zwei Zimmer gebucht. Es konnten nicht beide Zimmer auf eine Rechnung gebucht werden, also einmal die Kreditkarte für den einen Pence, der abgebucht wird, um zu schauen, ob die Karte überhaupt funktioniert, dann für den Zimmerbetrag. Dann für das zweite Zimmer wieder die einen-Pence-Buchung und nochmal der Zimmerpreis, obwohl es ein- und diesselbe Kreditkarte war. Da fühlt man sich nicht willkommen, sondern als Betrüger. Zumal es sehr lange gedauert hat und wir mit unserem kompletten Gepäck über der Schulter am Empfang standen. Also so erniedrigend haben wir es noch in keinem Hotel erlebt!
Dann finde ich es grenzwärtig, wenn im Zimmer keine Handtücher (also nur auf Wunsch) gewechselt werden im Hinblick auf die Umwelt, dann aber auf dem Frühstücksbuffet sehr viele kleine Verpackungen stehen. Vereinbart sich meines Erachtens gar nicht und hat eindeutig wirtschaftliche Gründe.

Poor Service
Pros:

Going there for our anniversary dinner. First asking for the wine list. Very poor and some not available. They could not deal with dietary requirements (Lactose), offering either one piece of fish or chicken. No available dessert. Sorry but we walked out. Apparently all food is brought in (no proper chef) and it seems like its have what is available only.

We were staying the night to see the heart surgeon to discuss a heart transplant but our room as far as you can walk in the building wasn't ideal

A great stay
Pros:

The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Check-in and check-out was straightforward.
Breakfast was great. There was a good selection available, both hot and continental, and everything was fresh and well presented. It definitely set us up well for the day.
The room itself was spacious, clean and quiet, and the bed was comfortable. Parking was easy and plentiful, which made arriving and leaving hassle free.
The location was great. It was close enough to Heathrow to make the morning journey stress free.
