Moyvalley Hotel & Golf Resort

Located close to the motorway but set on beautiful quiet grounds with great walks around the edge of the golf course.

Breakfast was very disappointing with many items not available.

The staff at the restaurant and bar were not that friendly .. and i think my drink was altered.
I called the.recétion 4 times and nobody answered and she was there. Luckely it was not an emergency or injury. I had no hot water for 2 hours. Nobody told me to turn all the switches at on.i paid 350$ canadian cause i needed the peace, i expected more

Excellent breakfast however the room had a constant squeaking sound every 3 minutes for 5 seconds from the shower hot water tap. All night?

The hotel is lovely, with spacious rooms, located on a golf course with lovely greenery and walks around it. Breakfast is great and the bistro had good options too. Staff are friendly and helpful. I especially liked the water refill stations dotted around. The only thing I would say is I was staying for two weeks and I thought the house keeping could have been a little better. My sheets weren’t changed over the whole period, the sides weren’t wiped down, on some days my glasses and mugs were just left where I’d had them the day before and weren’t refreshed. Otherwise excellent stay.

Overall it looked like the property could do with a make over. The room was spacious, but shower / bath looked like it could do with some maintenance. There was no airflow and the room was quite warm and stuffy in the night.

The hotel grounds are beautifully kept, and the breakfast was fantastic. The hotel interior and room are very nice, but the bathroom is dated, and the shower tenpature was difficult to adjust. There is no AC in the room, which normally would not be an issue, but we stayed during the heatwave, and the tiny fan provided was not enough to cool the room down during the day.

Room was too hot. No air conditioning. Cold tap ran hot water sometimes. Bed lumpy and held up by lumps of wood! Expect much better from a resort of this price. Staff were excellent. Breakfast was only ok. Not a lot of choices. Wasn’t asked if I had been there before so didn’t know they could make cappuccino coffees until 2nd day. Beautiful grounds and friendly staff though.

Stayed here for one night and had a pleasant stay. Staff were very friendly and accommodating during a meeting we had. Was very pleased with this. Food was of a decent standard

This place was excellent on all fronts. I have just returned from a wedding there. The hotel was absolutely immaculate and the staff were superb. Nothing was too much trouble for these guys. The wedding staff were truely amazing in ensuring the day flowed into the early hours. 10/10 to the wedding manager and his staff. I must also give a special thank you to all of the hotel waitresses, who really went out of their way to look after us, especially the wonderful Jer. Thank you Moyvalley and will hopefully return one day.
