Courtyard Marriott Ankeny

My only complaint is the breakfast is kind of expensive

The breakfast dinning was closed, coffee was able for purchase. They offered a free buffet but the food options were apples, bananas, eggs, bacon, potatoes & strawberry/banana yogurt. Bringing a child to this was not an option as the child had severe allergies to all foods provided. When booking they did not list the dinning bistro wouldn’t be available. Even when asked about it because of food allergies & proof of carried epi pen there wasn’t much options. Had to leave to take child to eat return & then swim for minimum time due to check out. Had we been alerted prior to the lack of dinning options for breakfast we would have stayed else where.

I swear when i booked room it said breakfast was included...it was not. When i looked again at the app and my stay, it said $7.95 breakfast buffet. Wrong again. A very expensive breakfast is what we purchased there...everything else was great

Totally crazy that on Monday morning when our plans for the day changed we went to the pool to exercise and wouldn't open. Apparently it was closed"because someone from Corporate said it was too wet" Not sure how a pool can ever be too wet and wondered if they hadn't heard of using a fan to dry up floor if that is what they meant. They had recently removed the hottub which we recognized ourselves as was sitting outside and the hot tub area was blocked off with tape.

It could use some repairs. My husband tightened the toilet so it didn't rock back and forth. The bathroom door was hard to latch and made a lot of noise.

Everything was very clean and everyone was kind/helpful.

We always stay here while in Nashville. Very nice. Very clean. Very close to Broadway. Wonderful staff! Excellent breakfast buffet. Convenient location.

The rooms were nice. The staff could of used some personality or more training in customer service. They also were undergoing a renovation and so they had the elevators lined with blankets so when you used them to get to your room or down to the lobby it looked like something out of a murder movie. We were very disappointed as the pictures for the hotel showed a hot tub but when we went to look at the pool area they had a giant board covering up the hole to where it use to be and it looked like they had filled it in.

The staff was extremely helpful and personable. The desk clerk this AM was appreciative that I told him about a faulty outlet in the room. I would say attention need to be paid to the outside,backside of the building. Pallets and trash on the ground. Lid to dumpster was open.

Was only able to stay one night and never really got to enjoy anything else the hotel had to offer. It was a quick trip

Pleasant and clean place to stay in Ankeny. Two hiccups were quickly taken care of by the front desk staff. We would stay here again.

The property was very clean and was recently renovated. Check in was easy. Our only issue is that the shower door fell out and shattered. The debris struck and injured my wife. We did file an incident report with the general manager. I was disappointed that the hotel did not offer to comp the room and there was not a first aid kit available at the front desk.

Pool was dirty room was tiny pull out bed was terrible said they had no pillows for that bed
