The front desk staff and housekeeper were both very nice. The keys worked. The location was convenient to the destination of our visit. The water pressure in the shower was good.
Everything needs attention in this hotel. It is very poorly maintained. There were tiles missing along the base of the columns in the lobby, the tiles in the lobby men's restroom were not only broken but loose. The fan in the bathroom within the room did not appear to be working. The bathroom in the room had wallpaper peeling off the wall, which was probably due to the fact the shower door kept almost no water inside the shower. There was measurable water on the floor when I opened the door to retrieve my towel. The toilet seat was loose and would not remain in the lifted position unless held up by hand. In my opinion the concrete in the parking lot may have been more comfortable than the bed. I have stayed at Marriott products for over a decade, but this visit will make me look at Hilton a lot more closely. The complimentary breakfast was marginal at best. This is the first time I have wished the included breakfast would have included dry cereal and milk. The eggs were way over constituted; there was literally water in the bottom of the pan. The sausages looked burned and the gravy looked greasy but was utterly tasteless. The A/C in the main parts of the hotel did not appear to be working. When we stepped out of our 75 degree room to the hallway it was similar to walking outside. The humidity and temperature were stifling. Beyond that the outside of the building appeared just as neglected. There are 3 flagpoles, but only 2 had flags and the American flag was so faded it seems disrespectful to even fly. The other flag was so faded it was impossible to tell what it represented. This hotel fully represents an ownership group that has no pride in their facility and no respect for its patrons.
The location was fabulous for our trip. The stores & coffee stores close by the facility were an addition to our stay. The Walmart & coffee shops.

The location to the beach was 30 minutes away and that was good due to I rather a better facility which was clean and not to noisy

Half the Carpeted Floor was soaking and must have had a leak because it was still drenched in the morning. Tub has visible stains all over. Refrigerator barely worked.

Arrived late. Room was comfortable. Close to highway.
Room in need of repairs. Stains on lampshade. Cracks in the bathroom tile in tub. No water pressure. Hallway was hot but room was pleasant.
