Situation fabuleuse. Terrace sur la mer. Bon resto, Bon petit déjeuner. Vraiment bien. Climatisation super. Belle chambre. Belle Salle de bain.

Great experience overall
Great and friendly staff. Wide variety of good breakfast options. Beautiful views. Great dining options right by the hotel. Had a beach right next to the hotel but didn't get the opportunity to use/explore that beach.
Rooms were a bit small. Pool only had sun about 3 hours per day due to shading from building. Taxis were relatively expensive (more of a Sorrento problem as opposed to the hotel problem).

Because of its position unfortunately the sun disappears quite early on the room balconies and around the pool. The pool doesn’t get much sun at all. That being said it didn’t detract from our holiday.

I really enjoyed my stay at Admiral Hotel. The location was excellent, the room was comfortable and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

The view was great, room was clean, air conditioning was great and the staff were all very nice and helpful.
The rooms are not sound proof. The balcony we had did not have a cover so the birds above kept pooing where we were. Bird poo all over the balcony. Had to sit at very edge of the balcony carefully so chair legs wouldn’t fall over the edge. It’s a cute small fisherman’s village area, but away from everything. You have to taxi to go anywhere else. We were there 3 nights.

On a positive the breakfast was lovely. There was a large selection of cooked and cold options as well as fresh juice and coffees. The pool area was nice and the location really is spot on. In addition the staff were helpful and always kind. If you are a couple and not two siblings the rooms would be perfect. They are nice and light and the beds were comfy.
We specifically chose to stay at hotel admiral for the location and what was advertised as twin rooms. Upon booking we contacted the property directly via email to confirm their availability of twin rooms stating we would be staying in August. This was confirmed to be ok, so we upgraded one of the rooms to accommodate a twin room. When we checked in we were informed that due to the recent upgrades of the hotel they no longer offer this. They told us we should have been contacted to inform us of this, yet our booking states we requested two single beds still and we weren’t contacted.
The hotel did offer a hotel switch but the hotel locations were not near sorrento so couldn’t offer us what we needed. Instead we were given a room upgrade for half our stay. I will say this upgrade was appreciated and it was a lovely room.
When booking we were aware we had booked two different room types. However they were advertised to be the same size, they most definitely were not. The standard double room was tiny, we were situated on the first floor and despite the advertised partial sea view this was not the case. If you are happy to hang out the window you will see the sea though!!
The sound proofing to the room next door was extremely poor, and we had to ask reception to intervene (starting at 23:30 going on for up to 2 hours, a full loud conversation could be heard clearly with a person on a speakerphone). This happened for two of the three nights in this room, the third night was quieter but the conversation could still be heard. Soundproofing was in issue in all three rooms but we can appreciate that’s not an easy fix.
The advertised sky bar was only open for two of the seven nights of our stay. On the website it stated there was a daily happy hour this was not the case.
Would highly recommend this property to anyone. AMAZING location, staff friendly and very accomodating overall.The property was very clean. Buffet breakfast was excellent.

The high price of food and drink. A no plastic bottle policy was strictly enforced but this meant no bottled water in room unless bought from the hotel. It was strange that the hotel used single use plastic themselves.
