Cons:

The price was too high. I had to make this trip to Abilene for a personal reason. If I was a tourist and wanted to visit Abilene, I would have stayed home if all of the hotels are charging these inflated prices.

Location very convenient for us. We would not hesitate to stay here again .
Pros:

Bkfst was great. Reps at desk and food area were friendly and attentive. Outdoor fire pit was nice touch. Thanks.

Great Experience - comfortable & clean!

Happy I chose the Hilton Garden Inn after reading reviews of hotels in that area! This hotel appears to be well managed but was a little more expensive than some in the area. The hotel is clean, updated and quiet. I felt safe staying there & room/lobby/elevators etc. were clean & maintained. The room was comfortable & quiet. Breakfast was an additional cost, but was delicious & easy, since it was in the lobby. Plenty of options of breakfast items, & the food manager was on site & working also. I will stay there again!

Cons:

Breakfast was extra cost - we paid a little more for the room and I believe breakfast is a standard benefit for most hotels.

Home Away from Home
Pros:

I want to thank the entire Hilton staff for all their hard work in making my family feel like they were home. My daughter got married and the majority of the family stayed at the Hilton. The rate was great and the family enjoyed the breakfast. If you’re planning an event contact Kurtis Morman he will work with you. Recommend book well in advance. I booked almost nine months and during that time many changes happen and Kurtis was there for all the calls and e-mails. The rooms were good and if there was a problem staff responded appropriately. The Hilton is where we stayed when we moved to Abilene they were welcoming then and still are. Thank you Hilton Garden Inn in Abilene Texas!!!

Overall experience was good, but multiple vehicles were broken into the night of our stay!!

Property was nice, inside amenities was also enjoyable.

Cons:

Multiple vehicles were broken into during our stay. Definitely needs more lighting and cameras. I would not stay there again until this is added.

Check bedsheets to see if they’ve been changed, check floor and give a good check of entire room for DOG hair!!

The lobby looked modern and inviting.

Cons:

My room! Our bedsheets were not changed and were full of dog hair. The floor and tables were dirty of dog hair. Room was evidently not cleaned (minus) the bathroom. Nasty!

Poor Management
Pros:

The day of my check in at the hilton garden inn .. i witnessed a housekeeper being verbally attacked by what I'm assuming to be a manager in front of a football team that was also checking in at the time. In any corporate business as a manager it is unprofessional and absolutely wrong to speak to anyone in that way. The housekeeper did her best to maintain her composer and she struggled to keep from crying in front of the guests . The managers are completely rude and lack customer service skills , with their employees and guests . I didnt even check in after witnessing such a verbal bashing .
