Pros:

The location was very good; very close to the FDR Presidential Library and Museum, to Eleanor Roosevelt's private residence and to the Vanderbilt Mansion which was our primary objective for staying in this area. The breakfast was very good. Finding this property was very easy and a nice drive. It was our second visit.

Cons:

The biggest issue was that the toilet was "low" and uncomfortable for my husband who is of normal size. He had to keep going downstairs to use the lobby toilet for comfort. The freezer component of the refrigerator was only half the normal size and so we had to ask the front desk clerk to store our third ice pack in their freezer. Most refrigerator freezers are full size and easily accommodate three small ice packs. ONLY in the middle of the night when we had to use the bathroom did we notice tiny (what looked like) ants...only a few of them but noticeable. Unlike most Hampton Inns, there wasn't a bowl of fresh fruit in the dining area. Plenty of coffee but no fresh fruit. No exhaust in the bathroom.

June wedding - perfect stay !
Pros:

The staff at the Hampton Inn was very accommodating to all of our out of town wedding guests. The hotel rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good and plentiful. I even enjoyed the coffee !!
Indira and Alyson went out of their way to help add some extras. The front desk helped pass out welcome bags !! Don’t hesitate !

Pros:

The breakfast was good; a nice selection of items. The pool hours were very good. The pool was a bit shallow but 8am to 10pm open hours were excellent. The beds were comfy and the shampoo/conditioner in the room was good quality.

Cons:

more variety in the tv channels.

Wedding Block Service
Pros:

Indira at the Hampton Inn was so wonderful to work with! We had to rebook our whole wedding block 3 days before our wedding and timing was critical. Indira was so helpful communicating with us at late and early hours and was very responsive through text and phone calls. She worked consistently with us ensuring we had enough rooms for all our guests. Indira saved my entire wedding and could not have been more grateful! Highly recommend using the Hampton Inn service was excellent!
