I'm truly baffled by the negative reviews. Agree it is worn around the edges, and while it has some modern amenities (e.g. Qi charging pad), it misses others (no streaming options at all). But the room was very inexpensive by current standards (under $100/night), bed was comfy, toilet and shower worked, Keurig coffee maker and fridge/microwave in the room, sofa, Herman Miller desk chair, etc. Definitely agree you'd want a room facing the back, not the freeway, but staff was generally fine (we did have to wait at checkout as no one was there, which was odd). For breakfast, my wife and I used our diamond credits for the yogurt bowls on the menu and they were beautifully made. No meaningful complaints - would definitely stay here again if I was in the area. They have a guest laundry room if you need that.
Overall, this property is an okay choice. It is far north and the rooms are showing some wear and tear though. On my next visit, I will stay elsewhere.
As a repeat guest of this hotel, I knew what to expect, but was still somewhat surprised at check in. After a minute or two, the gentleman behind the front desk motioned me forward with a hand gesture and I notice his name tag said General Manager. I handed him my ID and credit card, and shortly after, he handed me my keycard, told me what floor my room was on, and where the elevators are. No one said s/he would be with me shortly, no greeting, no mention of Hilton Honors, no confirmation of the number of nights of my stay, or listing the hotel amenities. There was also no one at the desk when I 'checked out.' I am not trying to be harsh, maybe he had an off day, but the service at this hotel needs some work. As someone who previously worked in hospitality, I expect the highest ranking position to set the example of service; I hope this was not it.
This hotel should not belong to the Hilton brand, it's a very poor hotel with extremely bad service and reputation and attitude towards its guests. I have stayed here multiple times and each time there has always been an issue. They never honor the F&B credit to second guests in rooms, always claiming the person was not on the booking despite printouts or screenshots from the app showing otherwise. On my last visit I was charged $200 smoking fee even though I don't smoke! The hotel never answered my calls or emails and the Hilton head office would not intervene either. More than 20 years being a hilton honors member but no more!
Room sheets had blood stains and even after complaining they did not change it
Room very bad
Clean rooms
No complimentary breakfast
Clean facilities with friendly staff and comfortable beds.
The staff was very friendly, the room and the building was clean, especially the laundry room... And they had laundry supplies available.
No complaints....
El personal muy amable el hotel impecable y muy tranquilo
I would have liked the location to have been closer to where I was going to be, but it was ok. The room was comfortable. The staff was friendly and welcoming.
I didn't like the fact that breakfast was an extra expense. I didn't partake. Quite disappointed with this, so I will probably not look for a Hilton again for a stay.
Less expensive than nearby locations
Beds super uncomfortable, staff was interesting ?
The staff was very nice. The food was typical of breakfast bars but not free. Access from the hotel onto the highway was fairly easy. The room was comfortable.
The room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable and the gym was adequate.
