The staff sucked and it was 1 1/2 hour late check in

My brother and I traveled to attend my son’s graduation from the Army. We stayed 4 different places between Austin and San Antonio. The other 3 hotels were friendly and had free breakfast. Your hotel were 1.5 hours late for our check in. Yuni was pleasant and apologetic. Her co-worker was a complete B….! She had a huge chip on her shoulder and not friendly at all. She ruined our stay. They could have offered us free breakfast for them running late on check ins. They didn’t. Will never stay at a Hilton again. I do travel for work often and I will make sure that I spread the word to my associates. Stay away from Hilton.

Had a very unfavorable experience at this property. Beds not properly made up under coverlet with unclean bottom sheets on one bed, and both bottom sheets only half on the mattress. Was told my only option was to come to front desk to get a different set of sheets and remake bed myself as there were no other rooms available. Had to turn off heater despite cold temps because smelled like something was going to ignite. Could hear person on other side of dividing door both at midnight and at 5:30 am when she was making calls. Manager on site in the morning accused me of "changing my story" about condition of sheets and wanted to follow me back up to the room to show her the sheets I had changed and claimed to be dirty. There was no apology whatsoever and the whole experience tarnished the Hilton brand for this traveler. Try any of the many other properties in the area.
Location was near our son's house.
There was a problem with our key (and 20 other rooms as well). We were there 4 days and had trouble getting into our room 3 of the 4 days. We did not eat breakfast there because they charge $11.00 a person for continental breakfast which we thought was ridiculous. There were 2 bottles of water in the room which were free for diamond guests but it said $1 for all others. We went to the store and bought our own coffee so we would not be charged for coffee. We did not use the hand soap so we would not be charged. There were only 2 coffee cups and 2 water cups in the room which the girl took when she cleaned the room. The maids did not speak English so we could not communicate with them to get additional cups. We will never stay in a Hilton again since they charge for every little thing in the room and do not adequately stock the room.
