Grand Melanesian Hotel

generally clean, fresh towels provided, air con worked well, beds are clean and pillows very comfy, no vermin experienced (roaches etc...), staff service very good, are friendly and have been flexible to my needs while staying here. some loud noise from kids swimming in the pool at times, but overall I would recommend....great stay. Vinaka GM hotel.

Adequate accommodation for temporary stay. Has mosquito problem in the general lounge area...staff are generally helpful. Rooms are adequate though the shower and washroom area is terrible. This hotel can do much better if taken care of and tidied up.

Friendly staff, great location. Fridge, toaster and microwave in the rooms. Family friendly

Budget hotel - does the job for a one night stay, rooms were fine but could do with a little more ventilation.

Had one of the worst experience at this hotel .. booked 2 suites for 2 night and upon arriving was advised that only 2 adults and 2 kids under 12 r allowed n i was only booked for 1 night and the lady who did the booking wasnt there whn called se started fussing .. grand melanesian hotel one of the worst hotels in nadi i came all the way from suva and they ruinned our holiday .. pathetic hotel with patheic service .

When we went threre, No room available for us.
We had to find another hotel at 7.00 pm in the middle of Heavy rain.

All the rooms were full so we had to sleep in some other random hotel they put us in. Mould everywhere, wet floor and sheets. Human poo under bed and in shower. Was the worst experience ever

Everything was really good, the accommodation, food, facilities and the staff were so friendly and helpful.

The property is nothing like the photos. No water in the showers so we had to complain frequently. Floor was back with dust when we arrived and taps were falling apart. Would not stay here again. The staff are nice and admit this place is falling apart.

Grand???? I would use another term to describe this place and it certainly wouldn’t be Grand, and I won’t use it online here because I know ladies read the reviews and I wouldn’t use the word that I would call this place because I wouldn’t want to offend the ladies. You simply cannot even write this place better than one star and in fact you should be writing it in the negatives if you are being entirely honest and absolute dump upon dump.

The Grand Melanesian was a convenient location for an early flight from Nadi airport, but unfortunately that was the only positive.
When we arrived the lady checkin couldn’t find our booking (even though I had the confirmation email). We also ordered a wakeup call at 4:15, but it was made to us at 4:45 (luckily I set my own alarm just in case).
Our room booking said the room had a balcony (it didn’t). It was also a very noisy place to stay (our window was right next to the outside staircase) and you could hear all the noise from the corridors.

It is a good area to stay with family. Near to the airport. It have restaurants and supermarkets near the area.taxi is free from airport to hotel.the rooms were clean .staffs were friendly. Pool was ok.

There was no email received to confirmed our airport pickup. We asked local staff at the airport to call the hotel, as we have no roaming yet. We took a taxi and was advised that the hotel would pay for the fare. The same thing happened when we were dropped off at the airport. The room seemed cleaned and beds were comfy. Major setback was cockroaches were all over the room, even on beds. Disgusting! The worst accommodation I had in 30years of travel. However, there were supermarket and fast food available on the road with friendly people. The pool on the website seemed inviting but in real, it's small and far from the photo. The place gas a foul smell, as we entered the hallway going to our room.

Grand melanesian hotel is very nice .nice place to do parties .good swimming pools. We went for a holiday with my family .and we realy enjoyed it.i realy like the staffs they are so friendly. Il make sure next time to wen im nadi side il visit melanesian

When we arrived at the hotel, they did not have a room for us. We paid and booked 4 days in advance. We had to go to another hotel. No phone call or emails were sent to apologize and warn us about their mistake.
We are still waiting to get a refund of this night we haven't spent there.
