When booking 5 rooms or more, different policies and additional supplements may apply.

Under current restrictions, private travelers can only access the hotel if they are fully vaccinated (and have had their second vaccination 14+ days ago), or have proof of a negative test taken within the last 48 hours.

Business travelers are permitted to stay in compliance with the AHA rules and are not obliged to provide a negative Covid test before entering the hotel.

For all guests, breakfast is permitted in the breakfast room in compliance with the AHA rules.

Any further catering may only take place on the terrace or in the hotel room as a takeaway option.

The terraces are open daily from 12:00 to 22:00, depending on the weather. If the weather is bad, the terrace will not be opened and a room-service option will be in place instead.

You are welcome to use our e-charging stations daily from 9pm to 6:30am.. One full charge is 30.00€ (70 KW) or 5.00€ for hybrid vehicles.

Pros:

Die Lage in der Margaretensiedlung, sehr gutes Frühstück und nettes Personal

Cons:

Das Ambiente passt nicht zu dem Flair des Gebäudes. Die Einrichtung ist langweilig und in die Jahre gekommen. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passt dadurch nicht.

Pros:

Ganz charmantes Hotel in sehr schöner Lage der Margarethenhöhe . Gleich ums Eck die U-Bahnhaltestelke, die zum Essener Hauptbahnhof fährt und von dort ist alles in allen Himmelrichtungen möglich. Das Hotel stellt für die Dauer des Aufenthaltes kostenlise Tickets für den öffentlichen Nahverkehr aus. Freundlicher Empfang im Hotel. Zimmer zweckmäßig und sauber. Frühstück war super, hier können auf Wunsch frische Spiegeleier und Omlett gezaubert werden. Das Restaurant M bietet eine gehobene Küche, die man sich ruhig mal leisten sollte. Feine Küche und exzellente Weinbegleitung. Insgesamt waren wir sehr zufrieden. Die Margarethenhöhe ist im Frühjahr und Sommer sicher unfassbar bezaubernd.

Die zauberhafte Lage. Ein sehr schönes sauberes Zimmer mit fabelhaften Ausblick.

Cons:

Es hätte etwas wärmer sein können. Die Temperaturegelung hat nicht wirklich funktioniert.

Great amenities and great atmosphere!
Pros:

All of the staff were very pleasant and the breakfast was tasty as well. The room was clean and had some nice amenities like a towel heater and a hot water heater for tea/coffee. Our room had a balcony which was a nice bonus.

Cons:

The location is beautiful but a bit out of the way from the convention center which was our main destination. Also it took us a good 10 or so minutes when we first got there to figure out where to check in and where our room was. The layout of the building is not very intuitive.
