Very nice facility.

Cons:

Kids were wishing the water slide was open when we were there. Very limited hours on that.

WONDERFUL stay and excellent customer service!
Pros:

We had to stop in Mitchell because of a horrendous blizzard happening our day of travel. The Holiday Inn Express in Mitchell had an excellent rate, extremely friendly staff, a super clean facility and very comfy beds. The free breakfast the next morning was fantastic. We checked out the and about 300 miles later, I realized that I had left a personal item at the hotel. Unsure of our way back home, I just chalked up the said item as lost. However, it turned out we were traveling back thru Mitchell on our way home. So I called The Holiday Inn Express and inquired about the item. Sure enough, it had been turned in and staff arranged for a quick and easy pickup at the front desk on our way back through. Not only did they retrieve my item, they allowed me to refill my coffee cup to stay properly caffeinated on my continued drive back home. We travel up to this part of the country fairly often and I can assure you, Holiday Inn Express-Mitchell has gained customers for life! Without hesitation, highly recommend!

I like to stay at a Holiday Inn express because they are pretty consistent and quality.
Pros:

I did not eat breakfast here as we met a large group of people at a restaurant. I enjoyed having tea and coffee available in the lobby at all times.

Cons:

I could hear the person either above me or next to me when they showered. A lot of road noise.
