Pool was murky, all ice machines broken, elevator broken. Staff was very friendly and thank God there was a bar.

Check in clerk was friendly and bar tender was nice. Enjoyed the "trial" smash burger. I'd suggest the patties be way thinner and the onions be sliced a lot thinner, but overall it was delicious! The manager was not only unfriendly but unhelpful. Room was bad. When we walked in it smelt like stinky feet. Access to the bathroom was very hard because the doors to the bathroom and the room would collide so you couldn't have them open at the same time. Bed was uncomfortable pillows were terrible and the shades are absolutely useless. There's a light that shines into the bedroom that these thin little shades do not block and it is bright all night long. Will not stay here again.

Not enough lighting, very dark, other than the bathroom and very minimal areas for storage. Neither elevator worked day of checkout so difficult exit for us due to husband’s disability. Probably will not stay there again

If I walk into a hotel and there is no antibacterial hand soap in the bathroom, my star rating automatically drops to a 3 star to start. It is absolutely mind boggling that, especially after a pandemic, all hotels wouldn’t supply hand soap. Gross. How many people are pooping and then not properly washing their hands and then touching the door handles and the elevator buttons? The hotel room was below average. We walked in and it was musty and humid. You had to have the AC set to 67 in order to keep it cool and breathable. The shower door was rusty and had low water pressure. The floor was gross. There was one place to hang ONE towel. The view was outstanding! Anything with a water view is A+ in my book. The hotel has not taken advantage of the views though. No outdoor pool and limited seating outside. The pathway is great right in front of the hotel but there are no signs to tell how far it goes past the bridge. Definitely missing out on kayak rentals or paddle boarding at the city beach. The star of the stay was that the town square was in walking distance. Tons of shops, a great bookstore and restaurants. Please be aware that quite a few places are closed on Mondays, including the highly recommended “Christina’s” restaurant. Overall, I can’t wait to stay in Granbury again near Christmas time to shop the cute square. Would not stay at this hotel again though unless the bathrooms are upgraded/cleaned more detailed and hand soap is included!

There was no buffet, they had an event and prioritized that over the rest of the guests at the hotel.

Loved being there and enjoying the beach only issue was the waitress we had for the breakfast was a bit rude and not ver helpful

Overall, very good hotel in a great location. All ice machines were out, so inconvenient to get ice, although they got it for you quickly. They need to simplify breakfast options. They explained it several times and I'm still not exactly sure what the difference between the options are. To-go, Buffet and Order off a Menu. I have no idea what the To-go menu was. Never saw it and was never offered the option. The Buffet was not a buffet. You ordered off a menu for the main courses (except you could only get scrambled eggs) and fruit, toast, cereal, etc. was setup for a buffet (serve yourself). It was the same menu for Order off a Menu. Only one waitress, one cook and a lot of confusion. Took way too long to get the meal after ordering, which was not timely either. It is a shame because this could really be a great hotel, but based on the price per night, does not meet expectations.

The breakfast setup was not adequately explained. In past years when I have stayed at this facility, the breakfast was complimentary.
