Visit to my daughter
Pros:

Everything!
Friendly, helpful and welcoming staff.
Very clean.
Good range at breakfast.
Room a good size.
Proximity to station and shops was very good.
My daughter lives in Yamagata and staff were accommodating to allowing her to spend time in my room during the day.

Cons:

Nothing at all.
Yamagata is a beautiful, peaceful city and I didn't want to leave!
