Pros:

The pool area was great for kids. Lots of space, nice view, good temperature.

Cons:

Rooms are a bit outdated and worn. Breakfast options/variety could improve but were good.

Cons:

We got charged twice for room. When I noticed I told the desk person and she said it should be corrected by the next morning. It did show up as a credit on our credit card the next morning. After I got home I checked my credit card info it show that again they double charged my account

Terribly rude staff

Cons:

Lady at check in was extremely rude . List Nebraska keys and called a day later. Wouldn’t look in room. Was even ruder. Next trip I figured everyone has a bad day so I gave the place the benefit of the doubt and booked again 2 weeks later. Went to check in. Same rude lady only worse. We were 15 minutes early she made sure to tell us we couldn’t check in. While sitting there waiting I came to realize that the could no longer support such bad attitude so we canceled and went to a different motel

Great place, clean and quiet.
Pros:

Everything. This is my go to hotel in Spearfish. I've stayed there 3 times in last 3 months.

Pros:

The bed were super comfortable and the staff was very accommodating. Would definitely stay there again. I'm glutenfree free and they had food that was glutenfree for breakfast.

Easy to find. Good location

Cons:

Our tub and sink had long black hair in it. Perhaps more disturbing was that I noticed yellow spash marks in the tub. I thought maybe just rust spots. Nope. After first shower it was all gone. I would have to say a man peed in that tub to leave all those splatter marks. Disgusting

Fast trip to South Dakota
Pros:

The staff at check-in was very friendly and it was a quick check-in. Our room was very clean. The bed was one of the best beds. I’ve slept in in a while. I love the swimming pool because the water was warm. It may not be the biggest or best pool that I’ve been in, but the water was warm. The hot tub was very hot. Love the bubblers in it instead of jet.

Cons:

The toilet in our room was about 12 inches off the ground. I think usable clean but just small breakfast was limited to some eggs and biscuits and gravy, but they were tasty.
