Hilton Gardens- BEST choice in Casper, WY!
Pros:

The front desk staff person was very welcoming and accommodating. She invited us to check back with her personally the next morning for breakfast vouchers, which she had available for us as promised. My husband requested an extra blanket as we left for dinner. It was on our bed when we returned. The lobby, bar, and restaurant environment was lovely post-renovation. The staff was excellent in service throughout our stay. Our group of four really enjoyed our conversation with each of them. The bar’s drink selection was broad and the breakfast was really good. Special requests were met with a smile and great humor. This is the third time I’ve stayed at this hotel on an annual basis to meet up with old friends, and this visit definitely exceeded my expectations.

Cons:

I would have preferred a choice of firmer pillows. This wouldn’t keep me from staying there, but it’s the only thing I can think of that I would change. I imagine, however, that if I had made a request, they would have offered me new pillows. That’s my bad!

Pleasant but not all ammenities available
Pros:

It was clean and centrally located. Staff was friendly, never had trouble with parking.

Cons:

The main reason I picked the property was that it had electric car charging stations listed online, but upon arrival I was told they don’t work and they have not worked in a long time. Though staff were friendly and told me where to find alternate charging stations, they were aware that the online description didn’t match reality and didn’t seem to care about it that much. This would not be that big a deal, except that there are very few charging options between Cheyenne and Casper.

Brief and enough
Pros:

Quiet and tidy

Cons:

Details: can’t turn on the shower without getting wet because the wrong door is fixed. There is no pen in the room or any other writing material. The refrigerator barely cooled, even when turned up to the maximum. The selections are available. Television are terrible overall, the room was fine but the details were not well managed.

Pros:

After checking in, my key card didn’t work. Got it resolved at the front desk but when I got back to my room it was occupied. Went back to the front desk and they said the best they could do is downgrade me from a king suite to a double queen room. It was already 9 PM and I was tired from working all day so I agreed. After finally getting to my room the bathroom smelled like cigarette smoke. I stay in Hilton’s about five times a month for work and this one was not great.

A pleasant surprise
Pros:

Although nothing fancy, this hotel ticked all the boxes. All hotel staff were very nice. Most pleasant surprise was the quality of the breakfast and dinner in the small restaurant next to the lobby. My room at the back of the hotel was quiet and spacious.
