It didn't look like the room had been cleaned, although the sheets and towels were clean. There was a desk, but no chair, and there were no trashcans in the room. I was only there for 2 nights, and i have to admit, I would not choose to stay there again.
Very dirty, shower curtain was very old & dirty. Tub looked as hadn't been scrubbed for a long time. Towel were dingey & old. Dirt on floor. Daylight around door, had to put stuff in door frame so nothing could craw in. Very disappointed. Didn't stay the 2nd night.
Checking took 15 min because he couldn’t find my reservation. Room was fairly clean except for cobwebs on bathroom vent and baseboards and wallpaper were loose and discolored. No coffeemaker or even a cup to drink water. Toiletries were small soap bar and shampoo. No one was at desk to check out and return key deposit. Had to wait for someone to show up.
it was the worst place ever 1st rooms were dirty oldused wash closhes in the bathroom then got new rooms and found a roach in the bathroom
Location was convenient but the room was not equipped with necessities like blankets, cups, an extra roll of toilet paper, no coffee anywhere.
Staff was nice but not available to bring items missing and didn't think a cup for water was necessary since they didn't have coffee.
It was the one affordable place within a 100 mile radius to stay during the total eclipse madness. I just needed a bed, so it was fine, but it may have been the zaniest, slowest motel check in experience of my life. The poor desk clerk was not prepared to handle so many people and kept making humorous mistakes like not being able to find a customer's reservation because he misread the guy's middle name as his last name when looking at his driver's license.
The room was okay but sheets were not changed because of stains, towels were not replaced after I used them, never saw a housekeeper, coffee items were not replaced, heater/air conditioner was noisy. The hotel needs to be upgraded and repaired.
I understand the building is under new ownership. My husband and I frequently travel to the area and always stay at this facility. The rooms are decent but definitely need upgrades and remodeling. We hope to see good things and a restaurant added in the future.
Needs some updating on the sign suggest better lighting
Bad
I don't usually complain about cheap hotel rooms but this was by far the worst place I have ever stayed. The first room had trash under the bed including an empty pill bottle and dirty socks. The sink steadily dripped water on the carpet and there was hair on literally ever surface. Also the toilet was dirty. I asked for a different room since refunds weren't an option, and got a cleaner room that was acceptable to sleep in. If this place cost $40 I probably wouldn't complain but ill never stay here again. It likely wont be in business much longer though. The actual cement structure of the building is crumbling and wouldn't pas any sort of legitimate inspection.
Rooms were dirty and rotten food in fridge. No heat so had switch rooms new rooms were out of towls and tp no shower supplies.
We did not stay there - we were issued a refund and left. Young man at desk was very nice - the hotel did not at all meet my expectations and I would not stay- even after viewing 3 rooms
Needs remodeled. Shows obviously old pictures online. Was afraid to take my socks off on the carpet. Room smelled like wet dog.
Advertised restaurant was close, 2 of 3 room door locks didn’t function properly, night staff was rude and uncooperative.
I was prepared to leave a good review- basically you get what you pay for type of place. Outdated, not super clean, but for the price I didn’t expect a lot more. And the lady at check in was very nice. But when we were leaving in the morning we saw housekeeping vacuuming the bedding and sheets instead of changing/actually cleaning them. And then at checkout, the gentleman who was manning the front counter was fast asleep in the room behind the desk. After ringing the bell and trying to get his attention several times, he just kept snoring. I dropped the keys in the plastic container on the counter, but didn’t feel secure about doing so. Included photos of keys in said container.
Bed was lumpy, air condition quit working, I left at 11:00pm
It was ok
This is a very old, outdated motel, but that part didn’t mind…vintage maybe? What I DID mind, was that after 10 hours in the car the room was sweltering hot, upon entry…air not on at all, on a very hot day. (They knew we were coming.) So that meant I had to sweat like crazy, while trying to clean up and get ready for the concert that night. My hair was all sweaty and my makeup was running…who has to finish getting ready in the car, when they just spent money on a motel room? Me. It took hours to cool down the room. I was also greeted by the very strong smell of mold/mildew, immediately upon opening the door. That smell did not go away, even after leaving the door open for a long time. We slept on a rock hard mattress and 2 flat pillows that looked like they came from the dollar store. But wait, it gets better! The pillows and bed linen also smelled like mildew! It was so bad, that I woke up several times and got very little sleep, with another 10 hour drive home the next day. Never again.
Property does not have a functioning pool, showers are hard to get water temperature comfortable, beds are spring mattresses.
