Surftides Lincoln City

I have been a loyal customer of Surftides, however recently they have shown unethical business practices. They have had a special advertised on their website where if you stay at least 2 nights during the week, you get the 3rd free. However, the discount was not being taken when reserved online. I called the front desk numerous times and was told they were working to fix it. However, they would not book it over the phone. Finally, I was able to reach the front desk supervisor and was told the discount was no longer valid even though it is still being advertised. They are advertising a special but will not honor it.

Had a balcony room and it was gorgeous to sit out there and watch the ocean! Our hair dryer broke and they had someone to our room within 5-10 minutes with a new one. Employees were very nice

The view and beach access are great, unfortunately the rest is just ok. The hot water was inconsistent, sometimes out after about 10 seconds. Ants around sinks in room and bathroom. They ran out of coffee pods for the room (we’re told we could come back in a few days for more).

They have not updated pictures of the outside, probably since it was built. It looks very old and rundown. The bed was horrible, the shower didn’t drain, furniture old and outdated. The room smelled of cigarettes. The pool quiet time for adults only was impossible due to drunken “adults” yelling and screaming. Would not recommend.

Our room overlooking the golf course was great and also had a nice view of Salt Lake City.

Our host Seliyah was fabulous to work with and made us feel like we were part of her family.

The morning breakfast was a highlight with so many options and delicious food that kept getting refilled to the end.

We have been staying at this hotel for many many years, but we are done now. The place going downhill. Biggest complaint this time was that the ocean view deck was entirely covered with pigeon poop and was unusable and disgusting. And the ocean view Glassdoor was so dirty you could not see through it. Also the heating system seem to be broken so you could not adjust the temperature. The front desk check-in person in the evening was completely unprofessional and seems like she didn't know how to deal with customers at all. Everything is looking sort of run down. I paid $540 for two nights and it was October so it was already off season, for this price I just expect the basics to be covered, but they were not. There are many many other hotels in the area, no reason to ever go back here again.

Room to hot, refrigerator did not work, ice maker on our floor broke, screen door to deck ripped.

View was great. Staff was very friendly. Lobby was nice. Room appeared to be remodeled but lacking in modern amenities. No furniture or outlets for modern USB hookups. Patio railing was quite rusted, felt a little unsafe.

Love the ocean view

My wife and I were immediately greeted with the smell of propane as soon as we opened the door. Called the front desk and they said maintenance would come check it out. Nobody ever showed up. The room was poorly lit and didn’t resemble the pictures in the listing. The toilet ran all night long and the gas smell was so bad we had to sleep with the balcony slider open all night to get some air flow

My family and I reserved a room last minute. Found an ocean view room, that was very nice and clean. The check in was easy and staff was amazing. The beach access is just a 5 steps away. My family and I will be staying at Surdtides Lincoln City again.

We got a great view of adjoining buildings roofs. With 3 inches of beach front.

The view of the ocean is incredible and the staff were super helpful when we encountered a problem with our original room. They were on it and I would trust them to stay here again!
