Good but not great for the price.
Pros:

Nice location. Very good restaurant.

Cons:

Attendant at desk not very friendly for someone with hearing issues. Only 1 handicap parking space available. Dishes from previous guest left outside of room never picked up.

Lake Erie Stay
Pros:

Lovely hotel with stunning sunsets and a kind staff. Bed and pillows were comfortable and the rooms were very clean. We sat at the bar and had a nice time, my only feedback would be to remove the liquor bottles blocking the view of the lake and sunsets from behind the bar.

Pros:

The location was great and staff was nice.

Cons:

$16 a day to park is ridiculous. Room was smaller than expected. Not needing to use all of the amenities but having to pay for them is crazy. No fan in the bathroom and the lighting was too low. Fridge was tiny. Felt like a holiday Inn.

Great Stay Overall, Despite Challenging Access
Pros:

This hotel is in an excellent location, particularly if you value being near the water. The views of the bay are a standout feature, and the outdoor seating areas provide a great opportunity to enjoy the setting when the weather cooperates.

That said, getting to and from the hotel can be frustrating. Ongoing construction in the area makes access unnecessarily complicated, especially if you’re not familiar with the local streets. It requires a fair amount of zigzagging to navigate, which can be inconvenient. The hotel does offer covered parking at a reasonable fee, which helps offset some of that inconvenience.

Check-in was a strong point. The front desk staff were helpful, professional, and took the time to answer all of my questions without making the process feel rushed.

The room itself was very solid. I had a king room with a bay view, and it was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The bed was particularly comfortable, and the overall environment made it easy to relax. The only drawback was the bathroom layout. The door configuration and limited space made getting in and out more awkward than it should be.

The common areas throughout the hotel were well-maintained and clean. The lobby and restaurant/bar area are especially well done, even though I did not personally use the dining options.

One of the highlights of the stay was the members lounge. Access was included through my Marriott status, and it was easily the best service experience in the hotel. Both the evening and morning staff were exceptional. They were friendly, attentive, and proactive in making sure guests had everything they needed. The lounge was also well-stocked and consistently maintained.

Overall, this was a good experience. The combination of a great location, comfortable rooms, and standout lounge staff makes this a solid choice. The primary drawback is simply the difficulty of navigating to and from the property due to the surrounding construction.
