Needs more attentional to detail
Pros:

I booked two rooms at this hotel for my family. We were traveling in Ohio and came to Erie on the fly due to a snowstorm (family hasn’t seen a major storm). The hotel has gone through the renovation of the Sheraton brand but still left a little to be desired. We were not on the club level despite being Titanium and the up button on the elevator was not working. To get to the lounge we had to go to the bottom and then back up. We used the coin laundry during our stay which is a rip off. The machines on either floor did not dry clothes very well despite being an average load and required multiple payments for multiple cycles. Upon leaving I like to strip the room to help the housekeeper and the room had one of the most disgusting stained mattresses I have seen in years that was clearly not updated during the renovation.

Everything was neat and clean, the staff was wonderful.
Pros:

Room was very nice, i arrived after dark and had to check out early so I really didn't notice the view. The bed was very comfortable!

Cons:

I had requested that my room be near my co-workers but I was on the 6th floor and she was on the 2nd. When we ask if we could get rooms closer together, we were informed that it would cost $20 dollars more. Why do they even bother to ask if you want rooms near each other when making the reservations if they can't honor that request at check in?

Cons:

Upon arrival there was a weird stench that lingered from the air conditioner into our room maybe from outside, but it smelled like sewer for the first night. We had booked for two nights and were only given a roll of toilet paper. House keeping walked right into our room after knocking and waiting for 3 seconds max. Parking was $16 per night when there was free parking closer and we were not made aware of that. There was a trash can full of puke just sitting outside our hallway.

The Sheraton is well-located but lacked comfort for the price.
Pros:

Due to construction, it was challenging to get to the Sheraton. Our marina view was pleasant; seeing Lake Erie would have been even nicer. The bed and pillows were NOT comfortable: the mattress was uneven or tilted, and the pillows were too soft or worn. The room was clean, nicely decorated, and spacious. Breakfast was just OK. The location was excellent for going to shops, taking a dinner sunset cruise, and going to Presque Isle.

Cons:

The mattresses and pillows could have been more comfortable for the price. The breakfast was very basic for the price.

Great Hotel
Pros:

Recently stayed at the Sheraton Bayfront for a week while in a business trip. Hotel is great. Rooms are comfortable. The onsite restaurant serves quality food and the view is great. The gym has excellent equipment and everything you need to workout while away from home.

I hope i won't need to visit relatives here again.
Pros:

Staff were pleasant. Ceasar salad was very good except for hard little crunchy bits from the croutons

Cons:

Shuttle service started an hour too late. Too far to walk to downtown for business. Booking
Com noted reservation was fee free for cancelation, bit when I tried to cancel, i was prevented from doing that. I HATE BOOKING.COM!
