Good hotel but bad overall value for the money
Pros:

Location was good and the room looked nice

Cons:

At every possible opportunity, the hotel tries to nickel and dime you for extra services. $16/day for parking in their own attached garage. Early check in fees and late check out fees, regardless of whether they’re sold out or not.

Relaxing and totally wonderful
Pros:

Since we were Marriott people we got an automatic upgrade with beautiful water view. It was our anniversary and we had always wanted to check out Erie. Has so much to offer with the water adventures, etc.

All In all it was an excellent stay.
Pros:

It was peaceful and quiet , I liked being on the 8th floor away from everything else and the breakfast and supper was great .

Cons:

The construction but I know that temporary.

We stay at this hotel one to two times a year and absolutely love the location, the rooms and the staff except for this visit.

Cons:

We stay at this hotel one to two times a year for pleasure. We usually have a great experience with the front desk staff. This visit the front desk woman who checked us in was rude and could not be bothered beyond taking our name and credit card.
