Courtyard San Diego Airport/Liberty Station

Booked my room for the wrong day I called and asked to switch days they were rude and didn't try to help me at all so I'm out $300 for a room I never got to stay in. I understand I accidentally booked the wrong day but I don't see the issue with just helping me out switching the days it's not like the company is broke and can't afford to switch days on their end of the computer. I just thought they could have been more understanding and helpful.

This has become our favorite Marriott to stay at when in San Diego. Although this location is not central to our family members, the proximity to Liberty Station makes it a perfect place for gatherings. We also discovered a number of community events held along the waterfront park.

We went for our grandson's college graduation from Point Loma University. This a great location with many dining options available so close at Liberty Station.
The hotel staff are all very attentive and professional. Checking in on my mobile app, our room was assigned and exactly as I had requested.
The hotel is clean and well managed with a nice sitting area in the room.

Central, clean, pretty, good vibes

We stayed as a couple at the Courtyard by Marriott San Diego Airport/Liberty Station and were very disappointed by several aspects of our room and overall experience.

The biggest issue was the room size. It was extremely cramped, with less than 12 inches between one side of the bed and the wall. Even the wider side of the bed only had about 3 feet of clearance. It was impossible for two slim adults to move around the bed at the same time — one person had to stop and wait for the other to pass.

In addition, our room had several cleanliness and maintenance problems, including hair in the bathroom upon arrival, a slow-draining sink, and a toilet that stopped working during our stay. We also experienced noticeable hallway noise as well as airplane noise from the nearby airport.

On the positive side, the property appears relatively new, and the waterfront location (not beachfront) offers a very nice walking trail.

We understand that hotels near airports can be noisy, but the combination of the very small room, cleanliness concerns, and maintenance issues made this stay much less comfortable than we expected. While the room size itself obviously cannot be changed, better housekeeping and maintenance would have improved the experience considerably.

Great location along a green belt and intercoastal type waterway. Saw some green parrots in the trees, enjoyed a cup of coffee and a stroll. Only there 1 night. Very close to airport, Vons and Trader Joes. Our granddaughter loved the fly overs that happened "quite often", but it didn't bother us.

Breakfast was delicious. I ate with my family and we really enjoyed it.

Very accommodating. They checked me in early when they did not have to . Much appreciated.

Proximity to the park and museums was perfect.

The staff was helpful and polite, and the food was tasty!

We had a great stay. The location is great and it is very nice walking around the park and enjoying the water and views.

The staff were truly wonderful. Everyone was welcoming and helpful. The rooms were great and the beds comfy.

To my surprise and delight, upon checking in I was given a gift bag with lots of goodies from Patrick and his team who found out this trio was my birthday celebration trip! That surprise and thoughtfulness made my day! Thank you Patrick and your team!

We will be back. I highly recommend this Courtyard.

Had a very pleasant stay during my business trip

I've stayed here several times for work and it's always good. Excellent service, great location, and some of the rooms have great balconies. My favorite part is the beautiful trail right outside, along the water. It makes for a great morning run. The large social area on the ground floor is also great - nice space to catch up on work or meet a colleague for a drink.

I liked the location. Right off the canal where you can kayak or paddle board and lovely walkway around. Cool firepits in back with pool.

I think I left a review elsewhere like with Marriott directly. I had a great experience at this conference (well, the food was so-so). The room was so comfortable. Loved the soap in the bathroom. Nice amenities. Decent price. Really all I wanted to write about was Sylvia who was checking me in. I had some issues checking in that had nothing to do with the facility, and it was frustrating. But Sylvia's compassion and customer-service attitude ensured that I had a great experience. She was first class and deserves a raise.
