Clean, good location, friendly and helpful staff
Pros:

Coffee machine in the lobby. Staff were really helpful and helped us communicate with an upcoming hotel. Really clean. In a perfect location

Cons:

Rooms are on the smaller side but that’s just normal for Tokyo.

Great value quiet haven on the edge of kabuchiko
Pros:

Close to everything in kabuchiko. Right near Golden Guy bars but not noisy at all.
Lots of shops around.
Rooms are very functional and a decent size with nice linens. Great showers.
All consider this is quite good value for Tokyo.

Cons:

The rooms are clean but the carpets are pretty old.
It's a decent walk to Shinjuku station.

Perfect. All your needs met. Many English speaking staff. Convenient location.
Pros:

Front office staff spoke perfect English. Amazing help downloading some forms I needed for a tour booking. Helped me with my Uber taxi app.

Breakfast staff all friendly. On one breakfast day most of the dishes were pork, which I don't take, and the chicken dish had cream which I was allergic to, I was still able to have bread and croissant with fried eggs.

Laundry is in the building so makes it convenient.

Golden Gai is directly behind hotel so no need to walk far for evening drinks.

Family Mart downstairs meant easy to buy snacks and Toiletries for us.

Rooms are simple and clean, which was enough for us. Has a kettle and fridge which made it very convenient. All the programmes on TV in Japanese only so we watched English news on our laptop.

Cons:

English speaking staff. Location convenient for sightseeing. Loads of bars and eateries nearby.

Not worth the high price
Pros:

Not much

Cons:

They were aware of the Tokyo marathon - they made no accommodations for runners as simple as opening breakfast earlier let alone a shuttle they literally said it’s not their concern. Breakfast was a disaster when came to a simple thing like asking to cook scrambled eggs fully.
