Don’t recommend anybody with family

Cons:

Very bad i have to find another hotel to walk away from this asap. We were couple staying in there we couldn’t even layi down on the bed, bathroom toilet was broken and dirty they didn’t even clean the room before we go there

Overall good, met my needs adequately.
Pros:

Another fine stay, having stayed a few times over the last year or so. Overall very good. Do like the breakfast options (Again - Dammit!) Good location for my needs this time (Stadium).

Cons:

Couple of things were disappointing. Seemed to lose Wi-fi several times, both the Guest option, and the Complimentary option. Elevator sometimes felt like it took an eternity to move (OK real world was probably 10 seconds, but perception is reality). Biggest annoyance - and not the hotels fault I hasten to add - was the noise from socialising at a venue adjacent at ground level. Even from the 19th floor, the volume was overwhelming on the Friday night, and not such better the Saturday night. Never experienced before on previous stays, so maybe just unlucky this time - or maybe the side of the building matters.

Great location
Pros:

We always stay here when in Wellington. Love the location and the staff are always friendly.
Every time we come, we can see the work they are doing to update the hotel.

If you also enjoy terrace living and shopping, Travel Lodge is yours
Pros:

If you love or want to experience downtown Wellington, Travel Lodge is right there at the city's heart. The room was very comfortable for the needs (exploring during the day, sleeping at night). You are central to the surrounding shops and the Harbour. Tons of cafes to choose from, food appears to be a priority in Wellington :)

Not been given a heads up about the TV’s, I was offered another room & took & to then find out only- Sky channel work & no volume on Free to air channels. When I rang reception about the TV & the receptionist said he’ll get a technician to come to my room, he actually turned up & told me about the New TV’s installed in all the rooms. So offered me another room.
Moved got - Sky Channel. When I checked out, I told the Receptionist about what my room TV was not doing. Got told again about fitting out All Hotel TV’s with New Smart TV’s.

Avoid going there.
Pros:

The room was dirty. The sofa beds is not have enough linen. Microwave dirty and fridge did not work. Very small and dirty bathroom.

Cons:

Sofa bed very uncomfortable and the room was dirty and smelly.
