We had a good stay in Montreal but next time would choose a hotel closer to the centre of town.
Pros:

The convince to the Metro, easy walking to Main Street where there were plenty of food cafes and restaurants. Staff were very friendly and helpful, restaurant in hotel was good.

Cons:

Our TV was terrible, we did get it fixed once but it began playing up the next day, obviously no use telling them. The shower absolutely soaked the floor when you had a shower, we had to ask housekeeping for 2 bath mats every day…it needs fixing !

Great hotel with large rooms and excellent location close to McGill University and CBD
Pros:

The hotel staff was super nice and helpful. The hotel has an excellent location for visiting McGill University and the student residences around the university (especially close to the "New Residence"). It is also very close to Place des spectacles and the famous shopping street Rue Sainte Catherine. We did everything by foot during our stay in Montreal. There are plenty of nice places to have breakfast / lunch /dinner in walking distance from the hotel. We had to catch a train to Toronto and walked to the train station, all super easy!

Cons:

The hotel restaurant only has " a la carte" breakfast (no buffet).
