Great breakfast but outdated, tight rooms
Pros:

The breakfast was fantastic but the rooms were outdated and quirky. We had a double queen room and the beds were so crammed in there that you couldn't walk around them on one side. Very squeaky bathroom door and the air conditioning could be better but was too close to the bed (inches away).

Pros:

Quick access to the highway and gas stations. The room itself had 4 king beds which worked nicely with the 4 adults we were traveling with.

The location of the property was right off the freeway and close to amenities.

Cons:

The hotel was not very clean overall, the sheets didn’t fit the beds and the beds were not comfortable.

You get a confrontation with every stay!
Pros:

I recently stayed at Best Western and unfortunately, my experience fell far short of expectations. I specifically requested and paid extra for a room that could accommodate my health issues, but the service I received was disappointing.

During my stay, I encountered issues with the front desk staff. Instead of resolving my concerns, the representative seemed confrontational and did not provide the assistance I needed. This lack of professionalism made my experience even more frustrating.

Given my prior visits, I had hoped for better service. However, after this experience, I will not be returning. I recommend considering other accommodations, as there are far better options available.

Pros:

Breakfast is good, staff is nice, rooms are clean. I've stayed here multiple times while visiting caldwell never disappointed.

Worst Reservation Experience
Pros:

I didn't even stay at the hotel. I had received a reminder email about a reservation I had made previously and remember cancelling. I called and informed them of this. They stated that I should have received a cancellation number when I cancelled. I did not. I also did not have an original confirmation of the reservation. The woman at the front desk where I called was so extremely rude about it. When I tried to explain what was going on she kept cutting me off and talking over me.

She stated that I would have to pay the first night's stay. I was not happy about it but it was what it was. I asked her to cancel the rest of the stay. She stated it was and hung up on me. I called back and I asked for a confirmation of that cancellation and she said, "You'll get it when you're charged for the rest first night of the stay". Again, not getting a confirmation of the cancellation. I called the main number, and they stated they would put a claim in, but nothing has been done and I haven't heard a word about it.

I was charged the amount of the first night, then I had another charge of $100 go on my card. Suddenly both charged were removed and then the one-night charge was put back on my card. All of this activity in a state that is not my home state caused them to lock my card. On a Friday night. It is a small-town bank and doesn't have 24-hour service to get it unlocked, so I didn't have access to my funds until Monday.

If I could give a negative rating I would.

Great stay, Dutch Brothers walk up faster
Pros:

Great stay, not good parking though for bikes. Easy access, Dutch Brothers is usually good, walk up is faster than drive through.

Terrible location and customer service along with smelly rooms

Cons:

The hotel is next to a car wash so we heard the vacuums all day. Our room smelled like it was rotting with body odor, called the front desk and they came and sprayed cleaner that did not help, ended up finding that it was the refrigerator in the room that had an awful smell that was making the entire room smell. It was unbearable, we called the front desk hoping to move to a different room but all they offered was to remove the refrigerator. We ultimately decided to leave that morning but were told we would still be charged for the following days stay. We absolutely were not going to continue to stay in this unbearably smelly room and the front desk offered terrible service, after demanding I would not pay for another day the front desk was able to credit me for the second day but then continued to rush us out of our room when we told them we needed time to pack up. I have never experienced such awful service nor stayed in an equally awful hotel. There are better options down the street.

Good location, clean, attentive staff.

Cons:

Showing signs of ware and tear. Bathroom towels were frayed, there was a plastic bag secured over the fire alarm, the pool was closed for unscheduled maintenance, the elevator was slow and noisy.
