Great stay here at the Marriot! We came into town to visit some family in Creston and decided to stay in Atescadero. The hotel is super clean, quiet and friendly staff. Anthony who runs the continental breakfast is so accommodating and friendly to all the guests. The lobby area is so clean and has convenient options in the little market area if you need anything. Definitely would stay here again!

Checkout time on Hotel.com says noon but they made me checkout an hour earlier. Also they ran out of food at breakfast. The emloyee mentioned he didn’t want to cook anymore at 8:30 am. I also saw an employee take a plate of eggs to eat when other people staying at the hotel didnt have anything.

The staff was great, especially Anthony and the other young man who prepared breakfast. I stayed for a week, the room was clean once, yet the garbage wasn’t emptied in the common area. Appears the shower door was not installed correctly, there backwards. Honestly, I’m not sure I would stay there again, and I’m usually in Atascadero 3 out 4 weeks per month.

The hotel was clean and quiet, it nicely close to freeway exit/entrance. The only suggestion I have is to use improve the breakfast options - too limited. There was no bread and fruit available during my stay.

Check-in was not until 4 o’clock. The parking lot was empty. We showed up at 2:30. She did not even want to entertain the idea of checking us in early. The hostess told us to come back at four. We came back and she tried to tell us our room was not ready again. I said there is no cars here. What are you talking about? I said it is 4 o’clock and we want our room!
She said she had some rooms blocked out, but I said they’re not here we would like our room. She finally gave in and checked us in!!

Breakfast was ok. They had muffins, coffee, water for tea, cereal, and two hot plate options which was either a breakfast ham sandwich and bacon. Not sure if it changes on a daily basis. Room was clean and comfortable but mattress was too hard for my taste.

The complimentary breakfast was horrible. Not many options and no place to sit down. There were not enough tables and didn’t see any staff. People were not happy!

When we arrived at the property after 7pm to check in, there was a power outage. The hotel room was completely dark, there was obviously no internet, no workable fridge, microwave, etc. We couldn’t even buy a lantern or flashlight because the stores were closed. The only way to see anything was to keep our door open which was inconveniently located next to the hotel exit, which is very unsafe as people kept on walking past our room and looking in. We immediately spoke with Kyler (the front desk person) who assured us that we would be granted a refund by the manager (who was on vacation). Because of that assurance and the fact that he guessed the power would be back up close to 10pm, we drove 1-2 hours away to stay at a another functioning hotel. A few days later, we were told that the manager refused to refund our money because of their strict policy. Well, we had no intention of canceling the stay until we found out that the hotel wouldn’t provide us with power, which is a necessity. Save yourself some time and never book a room here. They will change you no matter the circumstances and the manager is not understanding at all. I wonder if he/she even tried to contact the corporate office or just shrug the situation off. This hotel expects customers to eat the cost when they are the ones who didn’t provide a service. There’s so many hotel options available, it would be better to drive a few more miles or pay a little extra for peace of mind.

The electricity in the hotel went out in the AM. We woke up with no electricity and we could not get breakfast due to lack of electricity. Paying almost $300 for a room with no electricity is not right.

Great hotel and service. A new hotel with a short 5 minute drive to downtown Atascadero. The front desk staff were very nice and seemed genuiunely happy to work there. The design of the new building appeared to be built with safety in mind. Great room for the price. We will definately be staying again.

I booked through Expedia for two days almost a year ago. The property billed me double what Expedia showed. I showed them that I bad booked through Expedia at a certain price and you have charged me more than double. The lady at the reception said she will get it fixed when her manager is back the following day. It has been more than a week and in spite of multiple reminders nothing has been done. I was forced to dispute through my credit card

The property is very clean and the breakfast is good. But the loud noise the elevator made while in operation was scary.

The property was new and clean. It was convenient to where we were staying.
The breakfast was very nice.
We were sad that the pool was not open since that was one of the Considerations for choosing this hotel.
We were in a room with a conjoining room. We could hear quite clearly everything that was being said in the other room. It's a good thing that they weren't having a party.

Clean rooms and facilities. Breakfast was good. Staff were friendly. Would stay again
