This hotel is closed and we were relocated to the hotel next door. Clean, friendly staff, nice stay
Who ever cleaned missed the door handle. Something very sticky on the handke
Very nice place really good value for money. I would definitely stay there again.
It was ok to stay for one night. My room had old smoke smell, specifically in bathroom
Little bit strange. When I got to the Stratford hotel it had been turned into apartments and it directed me to the Nextdoor hotel for a room. Very strange, hotel charged a rate of $39 a night for the room but I paid 59 to hotels.com. Hell of a markup. But the stay was comfortable and the room was clean
Beds were very comfortable!
Not exactly the cleanest place, but that’s kind of typical for these kinds of
We went to Stratford but the sign on the door says to check in next door at El Rey which is where you stay. It was really clean and well kept. It's definitely somewhere we would stay again.
This review is actually for the El Rey Inn & Suites next door. When I got to the Stratford, there was a note on the door saying they were open, but to check in next door at their sister property, El Rey Inn & suites. The front desk clerk was very nice. She stated we were the only ones that had booked a reservation at the Stratford and if it was ok we stayed at El Rey Inn instead (same price). My concern was I had already paid online. She said it wasn't a problem, and the reservation was swicthed over with no additional cost. The room was quite nice and the pillow top beds were very comfortable! I will definitely stay there again my next trip to Cedar City!
I was so glad to see them opened but was disappointed that they moved us over to the sister hotel the El Rey next door. The continental breakfast was not great but at least they had one at this point And it was more nutritious than the average. I was disappointed because we would have paid $13 less before taxes if we had booked directly with the El Rey instead of the Stafford but we got a good price considering the crazy current events. I can see why they have an average of 3.6. They are smarter than the average bear in dealing with political changes! My applause for that!!!
We didn't actually stay at Stratford court because it was closed but the motel next door was owned by the same person. I loved the 1970s floor length windows. The bed was huge service was great!
Clean quiet comfortable rooms for very reasonable price.
Hotel was closed...and they still selling rooms on website. Luckily El Rey Inn and Suites was next door and took my accommodations late in the evening. Hotel was good, beds are comfy. Will be booking at El Rey from now on.
Front desk staff were friendly. The road to the entrace of yhe hotel had a dip that nearly took our front bumber guard off..
The beds in our room weren't made up. Moreover, the hotel is owned by the El Rey next door, which is where breakfast is. Beds weren't made up there either in the first replacement room we were offered. Fine once that was sorted: we had a comfortable night in El Rey.
Couldn't check in at the Stratford - had a sign it was closed. We were given a room next door at the El Ray. The room was large, clean and looked to be recently renovated.
We love staying here. We end up getting put at their sister property which is not a problem at all. Their rooms are really big the staff is super friendly.. The only suggestion i think i would make is it would be nice to.see them switch up the breakfast a little more. At least do.something other then biscuits and gravy more often for the hot item. We will stay here again..
Great breakfast spread, clean and large room, friendly staff.
We stayed one night to break up our long trip for Christmas. It was a great place to grab a few hours sleep and a shower. We didn’t get there until almost 5am but the staff was great at check in and even sweetly offered us a later check out since we were rolling up so late. The room was fine, bed was comfortable, but the tub had a couple hairs in it. It seemed clean otherwise though. As I said before, it’s a fine place to pass through for a few hours of sleep and a hot shower.
Expedia directed us to Stratford Court. When we got there, it was closed and there was a sign on the door directing us to the property next door, which had a different name. We went over there. There was a nice lobby with a 2 sided gas fireplace and, the next morning, a stunning view of the mountains across the street. The clerk found our reservation and moved our room assigment to the new site. It only took a few minutes. The room was basic but fine. The pool was outdoors so we weren't able to swim. There was a good breakfast provided including waffles, mini waffles, biscuits & sawmill gravy. The coffee was good.
