We enjoyed our stay and will consider returning to the hotel if/when we return to Malaga.
Pros:

The hotel was as we expected. Clean and staff were friendly. Gardens and pool areas were well maintained and the snack bar was good with a choice of non alcoholic and alcoholic drinks. We were able to order a variety of snacks throughout the day. Our room was big enough with a fairly large bathroom. We had a double sea view room with a balcony. All buses passing the hotel go into the Historic Centre which is only about 3 or 4 bus stops away and the cost is only 1.40 Euro. We are elderly so didn't walk there but younger fitter people could walk there easily.

Cons:

The balcony was narrow and only had 1 chair. A lack of seating or a table there prevented us from using the balcony which was disappointing. The coffee machine was not very good and we would have preferred to have the use of a kettle to make coffee or tea. The gardens were quite busy and there could have been more beds to lie in. However, we always managed to get beds to use but sometimes had to wait for a short while to get them. There were lot of comfy seating and table areas around the pool and gardens so, the wait was fine.

Gran hotel y mejores trabajadores
Pros:

La ubicación del hotel es excelente por su cercanía a la playa, complementada con una gran piscina. No obstante, el punto fuerte es la calidez de su personal, en especial de Carla, Rafa y Miguel. Este último es un profesional increíble; siempre se interesaba por nuestras actividades diarias y nos daba recomendaciones muy acertadas sobre qué visitar.

Cons:

El aspecto negativo es el precio, el cual consideramos excesivo. Debido al auge turístico de Málaga, los precios en general están subiendo demasiado para adaptarse al turismo extranjero, lo que encarece tanto el alojamiento como la estancia en la ciudad.

Our room was comfortable and quiet. All areas were very clean. It was close to the beach. The breakfast was very good.

Pros:

Das Personal war anfangs nicht gerade hilfsbereit zwecks unserem Parkplatzproblem, fanden dann aber eine Lösung für uns.
Hotel ist in Standnähe und man gelangt vom Garten über eine Tür direkt zur Strandpromenade

Cons:

Das gebuchte 4 Bett Zimmer war so beengt, dass man kaum auf den Balkon gehen konnte da die Schlafcouch alles blockierte. Das Schlafcouch quietschte bei jeder Bewegung und wackelte gefährlich. Wir hatten kaum Platz für unser Gepäck und mussten über alles drüber steigen. Die Parkplatzsituation ist eine Frechheit: reservieren kann man nicht ABER wenn man vor Ort ist dann kann man sich einen Parkplatz reservieren für die Dauer des Aufenthalts. Wir kamen also an, der Parkplatz war halbleer aber trotzdem konnten wir nicht parken da schon alles reserviert war. Was macht das bitte für einen Sinn? Entweder brauche ich einen Parkplatz und kann ihn reservieren oder ich brauche keinen. Wenn wir das gewusst hätten, hätten wir dieses Hotel nicht gebucht.
