Best hotel, best town and best people
Pros:

The view and location are the hotel’s best features. Both the breakfast and dinner were of very high quality and plentiful. Staff and very professional polite and helpful. The surrounding area is simply fantastic, peaceful and absolutely beautiful. There is a lovely, clean walking area around the town of Cavtat, which makes exploring a joy. It’s easy to see why so many people return to this town for a second visit. This hotel is probably the best in Cavtat.

A water taxi can take you to Dubrovnik in less than an hour, which is highly recommended. Dubrovnik itself is a gem, especially the old city area.

Cons:

It’s clear that everyone wants a sea view, so the rooms are designed long and narrow to maximize the view. Because of this, the rooms don’t feel particularly spacious, even though they actually are. We upgraded our room (to a superior with a better view), but in reality, there isn’t much difference between the sea view rooms.

Die wunderbare Lage lässt über manche Unzulänglichkeeit hinwegsehen.
Pros:

Wunderbare Lage, nettes Personal v.a. bei Tisch, Shuttle zum Strand.

Cons:

Die Inneneinrichtung war schön, aber für Gäste wenig funktional. Keine Tischlade, wenig Stau- bzw Ablageflächen. Room Service seviert nicht ab, leere Teller etc. stehen 24 h vor der Türe im Korridor, Kaffee und Tee werden nicht automatisch nachgefüllt.
Ganz arg ist die mangelnde Entlüftung im Badezimmer und der immer wieder auftretende Geruch von Abwässern.
Im Poolbereich: es fehlen deutliche Hinweise zum vorherigen Duschen, das ist echt unappetitlich.

Pros:

Fabulous hotel. Went end of April so some bars closed as still out of season. Hotel is stunning (we stayed in superior double with balcony and Seaview- definitely go with seaview). Perfect location if planning on visiting Dubrovnik as we took boat ride along the coast. You can walk along coast from hotel or enjoy sunbathing on cliffside. Have travelled all over Europe but only place to give us a breakfast box as we had early flight.

Cons:

Only that bins had not been cleaned after 1st day and we were incorrectly charged for minibar item which they resolved immediately in fairness.
