A wonderful stay in lovely surroundings with great hospitality.

Totally amazing - definitely be back
Pros:

The restaurant was lovely. Breakfast was delicious. Staff friendly and helpful. Very clean and well stocked. The bedroom was amazing - fab comfortable bed. Best night sleep I've ever had in a hotel.

Cons:

Everything was fine. Restaurant wasn't open on first night of stay.

Excellent, homely and friendly
Pros:

Lovely stay at the Hickman hotel. The breakfast was absolutely amazing with loads of choice. Our room was so comfortable and the proprietor was so friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Nothing, it was all perfect. Shame the weather wasn't warm otherwise we would have loved to have sat in the beautiful garden.

Although welcomed weren’t offered a coffee whilst we waited to be collected to attend a wedding and they weren’t expecting us although I had rung the property ahead

Pros:

Everything, Clean big room with comfortable bed, loads of extras fresh milk, fresh juice in fridge, water both still and sparking, breakfast lovely with big choice. The hosts lovely and very helpful ❤️

Pros:

Has free car parking and a lovely property staff friendly and accommodating. Walking distance from the town. Lovely rooms best nights sleep for a long time.

Disappointing
Pros:

We were rang at 5 minutes past 3pm asking when we were going to check in as the closed at 5pm although it states in 9pm on your booking. Com website
Then the following morning the shower stopped half way through my shower and the switch switch fell if also head fell of hand held shower , toilet brush not fixed on wall so had to physically hold the toilet brush holder with hand not ideal.
We were asked on checking out how things were and when explaining issues with bathroom, no apology just questioning our opinion , shame as room was beautiful and bed very comfy but attitude not the best
