Don’t let the good location fool you, it’s not worth it. Over a four night stay, we got about two minutes of hot water. The staff let us change rooms after the first night, but water was an issue in the other room as well. The first room had a loud humming fan and didn’t have any luggage racks, we had to request them. We tried to bring the racks to the new room with us to avoid bothering the staff again, but the manager got very upset with us and said that all rooms have luggage racks. Two of the four nights, clean bath towels had hair on them. Valets parks cars in the public parking deck across the street, not a more secure, private area unless the deck fills up.
It is very clean and the service is really nice, the location is very convenient due to its proximity to city market and the first trolley stop

read bad reviews on cotton sail, so changed booking to tryp by wyndham and was very pleasantly surprised by the tryp hotel. room was one of the nicest we have stayed in, with friendly staff at checkin. decided not to use valet service as public parking was just across the street. Surprised no breakfast of any type, as facility
has lots of tables and chairs in the "lounge" area. Overall, a very surprisingly good facility and outstanding room
The hotel is in walking distance to everything. The parking garage is just across the street. The hotel is clean and smells really good. Daily housekeeping if you choose. The hotel staff was super friendly and the room was nice.
My favorite hotel to stay at in Savannah! The staff here is truly incredible. A special shout-out to Ricky Ricardo for always remembering me every time I visit, no matter how long it’s been. He goes above and beyond, and his positive energy lights up the entire room. Excellent service every stay!
The negative: the beds were awful, and appeared almost as if they were falling apart. Sitting up in the bed, you almost fall off the side because of how damaged the mattress is. Cashier no: 75660 ( don’t know if that is her agent number or what), but she was insanely rude. I had an issue with the multiple, incorrect authorizations the hotel put on my card and she was incredibly unhelpful, continued to talk over me, and with a tone and attitude. She does not need to be working with people- and this comes from someone (me) who has worked with with people in the financial world for over 20 years. She is the reason I will not be staying at a Wyndham hotel again.

The room was also excellent.
Staff was great and helpful. Location was a little more in the back corner of the historic district which lent to more walking, but we didn't mind. We wanted to park the car and leave it parked. $30/night to park seems a bit steep, but we weighed it against staying a bit outside of the city and driving in and parking, so we went with it. Valet attendants were very helpful, too. No breakfast and there could at least be prepackaged foods for the price. Our biggest issue was maintenance/cleanliness of the room. Again, devil is in the details and for the most part, the room seems clean. But when you found what we found (see notes on pics,) it makes you wonder if all is REALLY well and then you start wondering about the last time the coffee maker and the ice machine may have been cleaned.
Location is really good, rooms and Hotel was clean, beds were comfortable but coffee was bad! However there was a coffee shop a block away that served excellent coffee

It was a nice room that was pretty rough around the edges. Staff seemed to not care there was water leaking through the actual flooring in our room. Showed them pictures and videos. The sink barely drained and the toilet barely had enough pressure to flush.
The valet was the highlight of the hotel.
Staff is friendly and welcoming. Hotel is clean and well kept.

ROOM NOT THOROUGHLY CLEAN, BTHRM WAS IN DISARRAY W/TOWELS & NOT THOROUGHLY CLEAN, LAMP WAS BROKEN, BATHTUB CLOGGED, SINK CLOGGED, POOR LIGHTING, REFRIGERATOR DID NOT KEEP OUR FOOD COLD THOUGH IT WAS SET TO MAX COLD TEMP., STAFF NOT IN APPROPRIATE UNIFORM THEREFORE , WAS TAKEN ABACK BY MAINTENANCE WHEN THEY CAME TO HELP THE FIRST NITE, HOUSEKEEPING DISRUPPTED OUR SLEEP (W/DO NOT DISTURB SIGN ON DOOR) AS THEY DID NOT VERFIY W/FRONT DESK THAT WE HAD EXTENDED OUR STAY, CORRIDOR CARPET WAS FILTHY, ICE MAKER ON 5TH FLOOR FALLING APART
Stayed at The Tryp in Savannah and it will be the only hotel I stay when I visit Savannah again.
The staff was wonderful from Front Desk, Housekeeping, Valet and everyone I had an interaction with was very friendly and happy to engage in a conversation.
Location is great and the rooms very clean and spacious.
Can’t wait to comeback
This was a 2 night stay! No frills and nothing special just a room to sleep! Staff was friendly and helpful! But would not go back to this Wyndham property!!
