Good for a 2 night stay
Pros:

Hotel was exactly what we needed for a 2 night stay in Paris. Close to metro lines such as Gare Du Nord. Staff were friendly on reception. Breakfast was pretty standard - cereals, bread, pastries, meat, cheeses, eggs, sausages, hot drinks and juice.

Pros:

En general hemos estado muy bien, la cama muy cómoda, había enchufes al lado de las mesilla. El desayuno correcto y el personal muy amable. Y las habitaciones limpias.

Cons:

Nos hubiera gustado que se pudiera regular mejor la temperatura del agua de la ducha. Y que el ascensor fuera un poco más amplio aunque sabemos que eso no se puede mejorar por temas de espacio.

La chambre était vraiment petite. Un petit bureau coincé entre le lit et la fenêtre.

Bargain last-minute price, decent stay
Pros:

- Very forthcoming and welcoming staff, available around the clock
- Comfortable bed (mattress sufficiently firm, sheets that felt clean)
- A clean room and bathroom

Cons:

- Room on ground floor courtyard, through which delivery personnel and others regularly walked, making it necessary to keep the shades closed
- Broken kettle, the button of which needed to be held down until the water boiled
- Plumbing problems, which the manager quickly acknowledged and explained by the fact that all three fittings in the bathroom (toilet - sink - shower) are served by the same pipe. Thus, when the toilet flushed, the sink would bubble up. Both toilet and shower overflowed.

PS: choose the metro station by which you arrive carefully. The farther east it is, the better your experience getting to the hotel will be. (Jacques Bonsergent is a better pick than Gare de l'Est and much better than Chateau d'Eau).
