Delightfully unpretentious
Pros:

This is a hotel close to Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est in a vibrant area close to rhe Canal Saint-Martin. Easy bus or metro rides to many of the main sights of Paris and surrounded by bars and restaurants used mainly by local and not tourists. The staff were incredibly helpful and the breakfasts were excellent. We loved every aspect of the hotel and neighbourhood and would happily stay at Hotel Soft on a return visit

Cons:

The room and en-suite was slightly on the small side.

Proche de la salle de l’Alhambra
Pros:

Petit hôtel sans prétention mais confortable.
Situé au calme et proche de notre intérêt qui était un spectacle à l’Alhambra.
Petite chambre mais fonctionnelle.

Gastvrij hotel.
Pros:

Ligging en garage prima. Ontbijt goed. Lift niet berekend op meer dan 200 kg.
Badkamer erg nauw en in bad/douche komen was een 'expeditie". Advies: baden vervangen door imloopdouche, zeker gezien gem.leeftijd bezoekers.
Personeel heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Très bon choix pour la proximité de la gare del’est
Pros:

Proximité de la Gare de l’Est et de restos sympas vers le canal saint Martin. La rue est très calme.

A really nice hotel, with friendly staff, a 10 minutes walk from Gare du Nord
Pros:

Small but comfortable room, room was clean, view towards the front street, windows can be opened, airco is present.
Breakfast was plentyful with a nice variety on products.
More than enough nice restaurants nearby, even in the same street. Velib bikestation nextdoors. Ideal.

Cons:

Some items in the room were not 100% dustfree, like the hairdryer and such, don't think it was used recently.

Nice hotel in a fabulous location
Pros:

The hotel location was ideal for getting around on the metro and had several fabulous boutique bistros and bars within walking distance

Prima hotel voor een tripje naar Parijs!
Pros:

Goed ontbijt, vriendelijk personeel.
Prijs / kwaliteit is in verhouding. Basic hotel, dichtbij gare du Nord en metro lijnen.

Cons:

Richting canal Saint Martin zit je in een leuke buurt. De andere kant uit is wat groezelig.

Close to every you need.
Pros:

Great location close to some nice bars, cafes and restaurants. Short walk to the subway with a grocery store on the way.
Staff were fantastic. An evening staff member whose name escapes me now, was super accommodating when we had take away diner in the brekkie area. Bought us out plates and glasses, and even a jug of juice.

Cons:

AC was playing up and took a bit to get working.
